I wonder if there will be any nod to Scott Lang's creator, David Michellinie. His name could be used for a throwaway character. Michellinie has actually done pretty well for himself getting at least 3 major characters he created on the big screen (Venom, War Machine and now Ant-Man).

Is Dr Erica Sondheim in this movie? She was one of the main characters and plot points in "To Steal an Ant-Man", since she was held captive at Cross Technological Enterprises and was the only person capable of saving Cassie Lang, and was the motivating factor for using the Ant-Man costume. Hank Pym also saw what Lang had used it for and allowed him to keep the uniform (similar to what Douglas says to Rudd in the trailer that he's watched him closely etc).

It would be a shame if Sondheim is omitted from the plot since she's so central. But no-one seems to have been cast as her.

I don't think Dr Erica Sondheim is in the film as I don't think Cassie Lang has a serious heart condition.

This film will be a very loose adaptation of To Steal an Ant-Man like Iron Man was a very loose adaptation of Extremis.

Father and daughters is obviously a big thing in the movie.

Lang is estranged from his daughter because he was in prison drawing parallels with Pym’s own situation since he’s been estranged from his daughter Hope due to whatever accident befell her mother Janet.

It looked like Cassie Lang was in hospital though, or at least sick in some kind of bed.

I think I would've liked more red on the suit down below in the leg area. Still too much black leather. Also something like the ant symbol on the classic suit would've been nice.

I thought it was a great teaser. It seems to me people either love it or hate it.

I thought it was great as well, everyone can't be pleased. There are some who hated the serious tone and wanted comedy but if it went the all comedy route it would be typical Marvel comedy.

It made me want more which is what a teaser should do, I didn't get spoiled and was left with questions about his daughter, his past and who the old man was(Pym). Not everyone is going to like it, I recall many disliking the first GOTG trailer and that film turned out to be fantastic. I can't wait for the trailer to see more of him in the suit and maybe an actual villain.
