I don't know what their IW will be like, but based on TWS, CW is right up their alley. The fact that they've brought back Trent Opaloch as DP and Henry Jackman as composer is promising that the tone will be in line with that film.
I think IW will be a bit of a different beast - you want it to be epic and hold stakes, but maintaining playfulness while journeying into some truly weird stuff. They did pull off blending the comic book goofiness & intensity with Zola's scene though, and their work on Community has seen shades of that to a more extreme degree, so I think we're in good hands. Here's hoping they don't suffer the same fatigue Whedon did by the time IW P2 rolls around. I'm guessing they won't though, since they said in an interview that as seasoned TV directors, they found a big budget feature much easier to shoot given the shorter hours and longer timespan to complete.
