BTW,is anyone else really curious to know What will be the after-credit scene?

I'd prefer it to be a surprise, but I'm expecting it to be a Civil War tie-in.

My hope is still some talking head or Daily Bugle headline warning about the dangers of unchecked superheroes playing in the background and you see some muggers tied up in webbing.

Post credit scene:

Lang walks into a dark room. Lights come on and he sees a figure standing there:

"Who the hell are you?"
"So you're the Ant-man. Congratulations, you just entered a whole new world. I'm Tony Stark. I'm here to talk to you about the Registration Act.

The rumour of Thunderbolt Ross showing up in the post-credit may be true now that we know he is official returning.

Are we going to get a new trailer or teaser before the film is out? We've had a teaser and an actual trailer so far.

Just want the after credits scene to build towards Civil War. Possibly Pym going to the government and discussing "heroes" and the damage they cause.

We will definitely get more trailers before the movie comes out. It's all Age of Ultron for now but the push of Antman will come soon.

Just looked back on Starlog's report, apparently Thad is part of the flashback with Peggy, Pierce, Howard, etc.

I'm going to go ahead and say their thing is legit given they were the first to report. Scott breaking out Widow? Nice.

I wonder what the credit scene of Ant Man? I hope it leads to civil war

I don't see how he couldn't. Both have been VERY public over the last few years, for good and for bad. And even if he wasn't, Hank Pym almost certainly knows about both.

Scott has been in Prison for a few years at the start of the movie but I'm sure he is aware of the Avengers and Shield.

I have a feeling Hank Pym probably has a dossier on the Avengers and he had ties with Shield in the past so knows them well.

Theres a possibility that Hank and Janet were the original Avengers in the film but due to Janets death, Hank quit and dropped the AM/Avengers persona.

There needs to be some sort of teaser that this character is headed to the MCU:

They will still be shooting Cap 3 when Ant Man comes out, so let's hope that Evangeline Lilly appears in Cap 3 assuming of course she takes on that mantle.

I think they might be holding it out as a third act / final scene / mid-credit scene reveal. I mean, us fans know that Hope's going to be the Wasp sooner or later, but seeing Evangeline Lilly in full Wasp gear could be a helluva nice surprise for the general audience.

I posit that she might be in Civil War, but her name was kept out of the press release (along with whoever they got for Spidey) for that reason.

The hype machine is so dormant for Ant-Man. Civil War, hel, even Doctor Strage overshadows it.

Bakc to the topic.
So Pym in the trailer told Scott that he believes everyone should have a second chance at redemption. Does that mean Scott already fail his first chance at redemption at that point LOL?

There's hype for Doctor Strange?

I'm pretty sure he means second chance because Scott was a criminal at first.

Two lines squished together in editing. Its supposed to be "I believe everyone deserves a second chance." "Everyone deserves a shot at redemption."

Have to agree. I know AoU is front and center right now but Ant-Man's not getting any love.

That said, they did show the trailer before my showing of AoU. The bad: I still don't feel Michael Douglas at all. Not one bit. It's like he's reading off a cue card and doesn't want to be there. Maybe it's just a bad scene (the one that ends with the "I want you to break into a place and steal something" gag), but I just hate him. And I like most of what he's done, this just totally comes off wrong to me.

The good: My bloody valentine, the FX look ***ing incredible on the big screen. I mean, it looked neat on the youtube trailers but my gawd, did it look amazing in the theater. The "running on the gun" bit was jaw-dropping; the "running with the ants" incredibly cool. The train bit was epic. Watching it I went from "oh gawd get Douglas off the screen" to "oh gawd, screw AoU, put the flippin' Ant-Man movie on NOW!!!"

So yeah, I'm jazzed for this. :woot:

When the marketing blitz starts to hit next month I'm sure there will be more buzz.

Avengers is still in it's second week of release. Marvel's website is still in full on AoU promotion. Plus you had the AoS season finale last night. After Memorial Day the focus will likely shift to Ant-Man.
