A friend of mine was part of the press who watched the first press screening, he did not reveal to me the ending of the film for press embargo release reasons, although he did share with me both the after and post credits scenes, beware here are some spoilery details:

After credits scene

We see Hank Pym in his office, some time later after the movie's events, he is looking at a wasp in a case nearby his office door, then his secretary notifies him about a call from Tony Stark himself, Tony tells him to check his email and to meet up with him if any interest.

Hank opens the file, and reads the title, he closes the doors with caution and looks shocked, the title of the document reads:

SUPERHUMAN REGISTRATION ACT


Post Credits Scene


Hank, after reading the file, closes his computer, packs up to leave and hurries up to leave his facility, he starts calling Tony to meet somewhere, he closes the door a little too hard in a hurry, the wasp case falls into the ground, then the camera pans down to the floor and follows the wasp flying, and flies to the window to get free, but gets trapped in some sort of spider web, then a spider with the famous radioactive symbol begins crawling to it, cut to black.




"Ant-Man will return in Captain America: Civil War"

What does your friend think of the movie? Excellent? Or just good? :)
 
Call me skeptical. Post screening reactions for AoU were also over the moon, and we all know what happened there.
 
Post screening reactions for AoU were depressing right from the beginning. So many fake smiles.

And yes, I do know how it turned out. Just fine.
 
I hope those are fake. The second post credit scene sounds cheesy and implies that Pym is somehow involved in another hero's origin.

He thinks that it does work well as a movie, as well as a superhero origin, but is not as spectacular as you hope it will be, relying ALOT on easter eggs on other heroes in the MCU.
 
Maybe Peter got bit on a visit to Pym Technologies...

Why is a/the radioactive spider there? Peter isn't bitten? Why the two scenes will be alike one another (the wasp thing)? And why the second scene is a continuation of the first scene?
And there is really a SUPERHUMAN REGISTRATION ACT?

Just sounds weird ...

This all sounds so promising. Here's hoping I feel the same way about the movie.
 
The reviews are getting me really hyped for this! Just less than a month to go!
 
I think a lot of Wright fanboys were doing the same, and were sure it was gonna falter under its own ambition without him, lol.
 
Not that I am a Wright fanboy,I just did not expect this kind of reception,as early stage as it is.
 
Who'da thunk that Marvel could make a fun summer movie?! :lmao:
 
I'm so glad that this movie is getting positive reception. I love what i've seen so far; think it could be one of Marvel's best.

Peyton Reed worked so hard on this film its horrible that some people will never give it the time of day just because Wright left.
