Here is a question that I would like an answer to. I am a NYC living PR. Before Obama was even on the national radar I asked a buddy of mine, a black friend that I always hung out with, if he ever thought there would be a black POTUS in his lifetime, this was 1998-99 or thereabouts. I always figured if the right candidate came along, sure, it was bound to happen. He was dead serious that never in his life would he see it. Now, what was your opinion on this before Barrack came on the scene? Was it something you thought, "No way... Never happening" before, or were you like "Yes, it's going to happen someday and I am going to live to see it"?

That just means that in the future in this country a native born citizen of ANY name can win, and it's inspiring to me. It means somewhere out there a child named Santos, or Chen, or Khan will grow up and occupy that post. It's a beautiful thing that can only happen in America... Or perhaps Canada. t:
