Its pretty messed up. I could understand if the women were attractive but some are gross and old enough to be their grandparents. People will do anything for a buck I guess. Being a man-ho is serious business.

I see far less black dudes with low pants these days than 5 or 10 years ago. I always thought that it was a stupid trend. I don't know why people think they look cool like that because the majority of the population thinks they look like idiots and would find it hard to take them seriously.

Saying that I'm not in favour of banning people from wearing their pants low in public like some of those southern states were proposing. Its a slippery slop when you start to fine people or lock up people for wearing clothes or following a fashion trend you don't like.

Baggy pants is fine. It's reasonably more comfortable than tight jeans.

But when everyone can see your draws it makes black people look really bad.

Some guys intentionally expose their underwear. No big shirt to cover up their butt, just they're entire butt and underwear fully exposed as some kind of statement. It sets the black race back approximately 30 years.

I heard about the birth of baggy pants actually happened inside prison. When males had their pants hanging under their butt it was to show that they were property of another guy......so that other inmates wouldn't try and do....stuff....to them.

If this is true, I have no idea why the heck it would become a trend outside prison. Wouldn't it just make straight guys look homosexual to their peers?

For the record, baggy pants = pants that fit loosely
Sagging pants = pants that fall below the hips

The difference is as simple as buying "loose fit" cut jeans in your waist size vs. buying any pants with a waist size larger than your own.



By the way, I think it's funny how this thread died at the end of January and got revived in early March. Skipped right over Black History Month.
