No bickering. Trailer should be out in a few days... AAAANNDDD IT'S CHRISTMASSSSS :D

Agreed. It does seem that a lot of good opportunities are being missed. It could have to do with them possibly trying to touch up the effects to look as good as they can possibly be.

Guess they're sort of aware that this trailer is pretty much what will reel the hook in or not. Sort of the last chance really other than the Spider-Man brand bringing the cash in.

I'd prefer them releasing something complete then caving in to the demands of a few who desperately need it now due to other than an obsessive need to have it right now.

Better they take their time I say.
 
Based on my calculations, based on previously rated trailers, we should be getting a trailer release 3-4 days after the trailer is rated but don't take that as complete truth. it just a guess.

How is that the wrong crowd? That's the general audience type crowd this movie wants to make aware of. The Dark Knight Rises trailer was shown with Sherlock Holmes 2 lastnight at the theater I was at. Who sees Serlock Holmes, the general audience does and they are the ones who bring in the money.
 
The trailer is so close, but just not close enough.

I agree. The girl with the dragon tattoo is going to CLEAN UP. Yeah kids won't see it but there is no reason u can't hit them with a trailer during tintin. If its someone in their 20s or 30s or late teens, they'll see dragon tattoo before they see tintin. Of course that's just a guess but tintin is positioning itself as the film for the whole family, something I'd kick and scream not to see when I was n high school. We are all a part of their target audience and as one of those audience members I'd much rather see dragon tattoo and that's the Columbia movie getting my money next week

Because Girl with the Dragon Tatoo is rated R? For "brutal violent content including rape and torture, strong sexuality, graphic nudity, and language"?
 
I want a new trailer pretty ****ing badly. Very much so.

And now I'm having this pessimistic feeling that this trailer won't show up anytime soon :(

Makes me pissed off and sad at the same time. Sucks. I'm just really really hoping that the theres a Apple Trailers/Yahoo deal, hence no word of it in filmratings websites. I'm fine with the trailer being online only for now, and in movies later. Just want them to release the damn thing before I get so pissed off that I'm disinterested!

You'll never b disinterested. Don't get discouraged. Next week is like a day away and it will be coming. I don't have any facts or proof to back that up just knowledge of how movie studios work. U always promote your summer blockbuster during the winter. Three big movies come out next week and for all we know, the trailer could b attached to mission impossible because that doesn't have it's wide release until Wednesday. Just be easy it'll all work out
 
Well idk about it being attached to MI4 (maybe not in the US at least), but lets hope you're right otherwise.

I believe every Spider-Man movie has had a trailer in Nov/Dec so I'm hoping the trend stays.
 
It's not just spider man that's the way the system works so keep the faith my man. Smart money is on history.

And why not MI4? It'll b the biggest movie releasing next week. Just because it's a paramount movie won't mean anything. The MIB 3 preview was with Sherlock Holmes so the studio is moot
