I can understand that, and really, that's kind of my point with Storm. Cuz I think that when you get right down to it, Mutants, particularly omega class mutants, would in fact count as Gods to humans. Hell, she gets bit by a vampire, and boom. Immortal on top of being a mutant. So in another 1,000 years, would she qualify? By your definition, I'd say so.
And what would this higher level stuff be? Most Asgardians are farmers, warriors, merchants, and smiths. Hardly higher level s**t.![]()
Vampire storm in a thousand years? Definitely a god.
A god can chose to do all sorts of stuff. They might decide the mundane is for them. Or they want the thrill of war. Gods are just above us. Or to put it another way. Dogs are pretty instinctual. A dog would chose to eat and have sweet dogging sex all day long if they could. I might choose to do the same. But despite the similiarity in our actions I'm still a human and it's still a dog.
I would call mutants a stepping stone in between. They're still too human to count. I see them as like a child with a machine gun. They have awesome power but not the skill to use it correctly. Now if they're allowed to grow up and get some training? Different story.
