Batman Forever The Official Batman Forever Thread - Part 2

Oh, I just assumed that you thought every movie that has to do with Batman is the same, since you just commented on two scenes that are nothing alike at all, and said they're "no different".

Yeah, that was obvious, I was just pointing out how bad it was.

Yeah it's no different than the Martha-Bat from BvS :oldrazz:

It's actually pretty different from that, especially in terms of the meaning behind the two sequences. In that sense, they're like the opposite of each other.

This deleted scene from BF is something I feel was an interesting concept that would have added to the film, but based on what we've seen of it (like in those GIFs), it seems the execution was a little lame. The funniest part is when, after standing in front of the big animatronic bat, Bruce comes out of the cave and says something to Alfred like, "I'm Batman, Alfred. I'm Batman!"

Yeah, it's really bad.

I think it was good that it was cut. It looks cartoonish.

:funny: I'll have to revisit the actual scene but I remember liking it back in the day. I'm definitely glad that it was made though.

I'm glad that was cut out of the movie. Would have freaked me the **** out as a kid.

Could of made a great man-bat though.

Kilmer wasn't bad as Batman, he was actual pretty cool I remembered. Nicole was easily the best love interest post Catwoman.

I've always felt he was an underrated Batman and still is my favorite Bruce Wayne, he was just overshadowed by Keaton, Bale and now Affleck. Probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite Batman!

I also love the panther suit except for of course the nipples and belt.

Kilmer's Wayne has always been a favorite of mine however even though he looked great in the Panther Suit, as an adult I am not a fan of his Batman. We know he didn't have much time to prepare for the role so, one wonders what his Batman would've been like had he been cast from the start and not thrust into the film right before production like he was.

Just rewatched some bat films and damn I had forgotten how much I actually like this one, It's a fun and underrated Batman movie!

The bat nipples, batmobile's design and Two-Face & Riddler being over the top campy is an issue but overall it's a cool film over shadowed by better bat films.

Before Affleck, Kilmer was my favourite visual live action depiction of both Wayne and Batman; as much as I liked both Keaton and Bale in terms of their acting, they did not do it for me visually. Clooney I was never able to take seriously and West did his own thing which was totally different and I respect him to this day.
