Who cares if he hates on Returns, it's still an enjoyable podcast.

I have a few of those styled Returns shirts. A couple designs are on tank tops. They were prototypes that never got mass released.

I wish you had them in my size, I would certainly buy them!

As far as Kevin Smith goes, I've enjoyed some of his films but I've never really enjoyed listening to him talk all that much, we don't really agree on many things and I find him quite pompous.

:hehe: fair enough. I like him, though.

I like him... but I've heard his opinions on Burton's movies before and at this stage, it's barely even constructive criticism.

So I have no desire to listen to him and his friend, who I assume were both high as a kite, berate Burton because of his lack of fidelity to the source material (20 years on).

I bet he was constantly saying things like... ''Hey listen Kiddies (*inhales*)... this is the kind of **** we had to watch back then and back then we thought it was awesome. Hahahaha''.

So I figured it was best to just skip 'em.

Ha, yeah, he actually says that a few times. :woot:

I find it funny that be verbally destroys the Burton Batman films but yet Smith's own Superman script was the farthest thing from being a truly faithful adaption of its own.

Batman Returns is far from being my favorite Batman movie, but there are certainly some redeeming qualities to the movie. Catwoman being one of them (even though Burton's origin of her superpowers is weird). Michelle Pfeiffer is the star of the movie, IMO. And she's a better Catwoman than Anne Hathaway (I still loved Anne though!).

Kevin Smith rides on Nolan's you-know-what. And I like Kevin Smith, don't get me wrong (the pot smoking thing drove me away from listening to his podcasts though, as he's become repetitive). I don't care how much Burton "deviated" from the comics; the 1989 Batman is still better than two of Nolan's Batman movies, in my opinion.

There has never been a better Catwoman costume in live-action.

It's a great piece of work.

And to think she whipped off all those mannequin heads in one go on her first try

Still my favorite live-action Batman film, even over the greatness of the first Burton film! It just has this charm and nostalgia that causes me still to love it so much.

I love the first 3 Batman films 1989-1995 and always will. Fantastic pieces of pop-art.

My set of puzzles, I haven't gotten around to finishing and framing the last two.

^Awesome. :word:

I hate Kevin Smith. Hate anything he's involved with. Hate his ****** movies. Hate his opinions. Just hate the fat ****.

Ha, the only Batman puzzle I had when I was a kid was a TDKR puzzle. I remember thinking how "badass" I was, cause I talked my mom into buying a TDKR puzzle. I was so edgy at 8-9 years old! :hehe:
