The timeless 'dark deco' look of the series is a big help, IMO.It's remarkable how well this series has aged. I mean, compare this to Spider-man TAS, or X-men TAS, their only assets are faithful comic storylines. Otherwise they are riddled with bad writing, stilted voice work and piss poor animation.
That and Dreamscape.
I assume he mean Dreams in Darkness which was another great showcase for Mr. Conroy.
Joker, remember when I said my main problem with Andrew Garfield was that he was consciously playing Spider-Man as an iconic figure of pop culture and not as a character/person that any actor would try to embody? Well, I fear Kevin may have crossed a line into that territory. Without Romano and Timm to rein him in, he risks veering off into some questionable performances.
