I hear you but don't really believe that. I think he has a problem with slick fighters which is why they won't fight Lara. I don't think it's GGG, I think it's his camp, especially that loud mouth Sanchez. I'm on record as saying I think GGG would beat Lara but not without being exposed..............scratch that, I think it's a 50/50 fight. GGG wins by KO but if it goes 12 rounds, I see Lara winning unless it's another robbery. As far as I've seen, GGG has only faced one slick fighter and that was Willie.........whatever his last name was but dude could bust a grape in a fruit fight.
I think the big difference between Kovalev and GGG is that if ANYONE calls out Kovalev, you'd have to restrain him from accepting the challenge, whereas with GGG, he thinks he's bigger than what he actually is. Kovalev could have easily fought anyone else but instead chose to whoop Pascal's ass again for talking trash. Instead of GGG shutting Lara, Andrade, Hopkins, Ward, and God knows who else called him out, he starts the A-side excuse. Dude is 33 years old and has fought journeymen. But Darth, I don't think we will ever agree on GGG. Kovalev, we agree is good, possibly the best boxer out right now. Ward, we agree is good but needs to get his ass in the ring and stop getting "hurt" and wasting his prime. But GGG............I just can't get on that hype train for the life of me.
