18-0 means nothing these day's, Lets' be honest. If he survives more than 8 rounds, He's done better than the majority of those who go against Triple G.

Even Lemieux lasted only 8 and I thought he'd trouble Golovkin a bit.

Loved seeing two of the best fighters in the world again tonight.

Not impressed with GGG at all. Dude continues to fight cab drivers.

Only cab drivers will fight him. The rest are scared. Why do you ignore this?

A couple of guys have called him out. Seems like he's the one who's ignoring people.

He needs to fight Canelo or Lara depending on if he wants' to stay at 160 or movie down. He says' he ants' to move up to 167 but for Ward. But Ward is at 175 now.

Exactly. Unifying the division is one thing and even I'm not sure about that because he wouldn't have taken the step aside money for Cotto/Canelo. Dude is 34 and has no big names on his resume. He should fight Lara for his name alone and to show that he could beat him better than Canelo did(though I think that fight was a draw). He's fighting the same come forward fighters and avoiding another type all together.

At this point fighting Lara would be better than anyone GGG has fought. A shoulder punch KO? smdh, dude was there for a paycheck.

Exactly! That fight was like a lion fighting a squirrel. Dude had no chance at all. And I've always been on record that I think GGG would beat Lara by KO but there is something about that fight that GGG's team doesn't like.
Plus, if Canelo doesn't fight GGG, dude is going to be in a bad place. He needs Canelo way more than Canelo needs him. It's why Canelo can afford to play the waiting game.

Lara has no name. Which is exactly why he wants to fight GGG. Because he is irrelevant. And last time I checked Lara lost to Canelo. And how is GGG is a bad place? He is making bank fighting on HBO.

GGG is Canelo's mandatory. If he doesn't fight him, he loses the title.

So I guess Dominic Wade and Willie Robinson are bigger names? Real boxing fans know Lara. If GGG would beat him, it would easily give him that one big name that he sorely needs. Right now his resume is void AF. And he's in a bad place if Canelo doesn't fight him. There's absolutely no one near his weight class that could make him a PPV star, which HBO and ESPN are clearly pushing hard for. He and Ward both needed each other but at least Ward now has Kovalev to fall back on. GGG is in arguably the weakest division in boxing right now and there is literally no one there that can give him recognition to earn a lot of fans respect. That goes for Jacobs and Saunders.

Listen man, Kovalev and GGG, IMO, aren't the same class of boxer that Andre is, and hopefully the world will get to see that soon. GGG was never the main one talking about fighting Ward anyway, it was his trainer.

Which makes sense, he isn't the one who has to go in there and deal with Andre so it's easy to say whatever he wants to try and promote his fighter. I don't care who GGG runs through, it wouldn't happen with Ward, plain and simple.

I honestly don't think GGG is at all. I honestly think he's all hype and his camp knows it and avoids slick fighters. HBO has done an amazing job as building him up to be the most feared man in boxing which is BS. But not sure on Kovalev. I think that fight is 50/50 because of his power.

I personally think canelo wrecks him bad and Andre Ward
ward has actually called him out a few times but GGG rather still talk mayweather and natural light weight smh

I think GGG and Canelo is a good fight - 8 or 9 rounds, one of them wins via KO

as for Ward, he doesn't want to drop weight to fight GGG

and I don't think GGGs camp wants him to jump up

Andre Ward is at 175lbs now anyway. Kovalev is the one he should be calling out if he want's a bad mofo.

Kovalev is one bad dude. I still think he beats Ward, bad.

Pretty good fights on this weekend (atleast on paper)

The Dirrell brothers fight tonight. Badou Jack vs Bute on Showtime and Ortiz vs Berto on FOX on Saturday.

Badou Jack vs Bute is for the most unpronounceable name in boxing and Ortiz vs Berto should be for the "Both leave boxing for good" match. Although I would still love to see Ortiz vs Brandon Rios some day. Even if they're both shot fighters. The build up would be as entertaining as Vargas vs Mayorga way back when.

I don't know. I think Ward is a true 50/50 fight. One is a pure boxer, the other is just a straight monster. I don't really see either of them having an edge over the other...............except maybe that one inch that Ward has over Kovalev. Not saying it's a determining factor but it may come into play.

And yeah, looking forward to enjoy boxing tonight and this weekend. Going to be a great weekend.

So Canelo Vs Khan tomorrow guy's. What round stoppage do you think for Canelo? I'm going with 8th round TKO.

I'd be shocked if it goes 6. Khan has the hand speed but dude was getting knocked out by Welterweights. I can only imagine what Canelo will do to him.

Who's paying for this though? If this ain't a waste, I don't know what is.
