Eh, I don't know man. The N word is not how it use to be. I swear when I was in Japan, I heard two of them calling each other that. Same in Philippines, same in the USA with two Latinos, same with two white dudes. He was wrong to say it but it doesn't make him racist. It is only used to be racist these days when dudes try to use it to beat a case, i.e., I beat his arse because he called me the n word. I DESPISE the use of that word but even I know it doesn't have the same weight it use to.

Entertaining fight between Haye/Bellew, I had Haye winning 4 rounds to 1 & then in the 6th it was pretty clear Haye slipped & appeared to snap his achilles or damage it quite badly. He was staggering about the ring barely able to keep his balance or generate any punching power for the remainder of the fight.

Good class from Bellew to not celebrate wildly after the bout, helped Haye back to his corner after his team threw in the towel.

Despite the injury somewhat souring the fight in general, it was a good advert for boxing, good display of heart, class & respect from both.

I'm not sure he said it in anger though. He may have been selling the fight, hence why Thurman was all cool about it. But not trying to get off topic. We just agree to disagree. Anyway, still hoping Thurman wins but still think Garcia will pull it off. I really think he fights to the level of his competition.

Yeah I don't know about that, but I told you Keith would handle him pretty easily. I actually give Danny credit, I thought Keith would be able to hurt him but he took his shots with no problem.

Garcia is just a very solid, but basic fighter with great timing. Thurman has great movement though, more than enough to get in and out at will, which is all he had to do. Really it was just a more complete version of what Lamont did, although I thought he beat Danny as well...

Thurman was the clear winner. Don't know how someone gave that fight to Garcia. Thurman should be looking to become undisputed Welterweight champ now. Hes' got the WBA & WBC. Brook has the IBF and Pacman (WBO)

I'm so glad Thurman won. I don't see how one judge had it for Garcia. The rounds I had Thurman losing were the 2,6 (or 7 can't remember) and 11,12.

When Thurman got on his bike in the last 2 and when they said "split decision" I was thinking back to Delahoya/Trinidad and saying "here we go, Thurman's about to get robbed"

Yep, after all the pathetic build up it was good to see that when it came to it decency won out. Haye showed bravery to continue to the end despite his injury which robbed him any chance of winning this match while Bellew showed class by not celebrating when the towel was thrown in and only showing concern for his opponent and being measured with his post fight comments.

By Bellew not celebrating wildly & showing some compassion for Haye it no doubt has earned him some new fans & at least some respect from both Haye & his fans.

A new shootout tournament with 16 of the world's best fighters competing for $50m (£41m) will "change the world of boxing", say those behind the plan.
Comosa AG - a new venture involving some of the biggest names in boxing promotion, is behind the event.


"It is Comosa's ambition to turn the World Boxing Super Series into the world's biggest and best boxing tournament," said Roberto Dalmiglio, Comosa's head of management board.
It could start as early as September.


The event will take a shootout format and involve eight fighters in two yet-to-be-decided weight classes.
The winners will receive the Muhammad Ali Trophy, named after the former heavyweight world champion who died last year.
"The World Boxing Super Series will change the world of boxing," said Dalmiglio.


A similar Super Six World Boxing Classic was held between 2009 and 2011.
Richard Schaefer, the former Golden Boy promotions chief executive, is among those involved in the venture.
"Boxing has really been missing a big tournament like the World Boxing Super Series. Every major sport has one," he said.

Saw GGG/Jacobs and it was a great fight! Had Jacobs winning by one point but it could have went either way. Anyone who uses the excuse that GGG allows guys hit him to have an exciting fight or whatever are kidding themselves. His defense is not that good. There were a couple of times that Jacobs froze him. As far as Roman Gonzalez, I'm not surprised at all. He was given #1 P4P to fast. He's good but I always questioned how he jumped up so high out of the blue.

With Roman's loss I thnik that officially makes Andre Ward the RING's P4P #1. He went to #2 after he beat Kovalev.

I think boxing needs something like this rather than having people able to avoid the big fights and pad their record without taking risks. If this kind of tournament is available in your weight class and you choose not to enter (due to a good chance of picking up a loss) you're going to look like a fraud.

F it! Jacobs felt GGG's power but GGG felt Jacob's power as well. I believe Jacob's was gun shy at times for that reason. Put there were a couple of shots that didn't stun GGG but made him pause for a second. Now I'm hearing idiotic fans(Not you, just saying in general) who actually believe that GGG let this fight go the distance to lure Canelo into a fight?!? WTF! How delusional can a fanbase be!? This is why some people don't care for GGG. It's not him, it's his fan base. He let's his opponent hit him to lure future opponents into the ring?! Come on!
