he is an Oscar Nominee and Winner

At first I was like uh-uh, but thinking about it, I think he'd be one of the best choices for this role. Nice call.

Lucy Lawless as Faora. And I swear I'm not saying this just because I'm a fan. I think she'd be fantastic. Look for her performance in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena as Lucretia to see what I'm talking about (specifically the finale). She's tall and imposing, and is the appropriate age as well.

Another choice I actually think would be great. Kudos.

That choice has been done to death. Bring up a new one.

Im gonna throw this back into the bag,cause I love the comparison look.

Yeah Deniro is the only one I think has the same level of Awesome for the role as JDM would, in terms of yelling at the news room and looking like a force to be reckoned with.

But I think JDM could better pull off the warm fatherly side too.

I always thought Edward James Olmos would make a fantastic Perry White, he's just got that look and attitude which would totally suit the role. And nothing wrong with a little bit of Mexico in our Perry White

Me too. And plus we've never seen Cat in the films so she could be a good addition. Purely for DP comedy though.

I agree, I'm hoping to see Cat Grant in this movie as well. There are plenty of good options to play her, though, so I'm not too worried about the casting on that one.
