Great pic, House of F
Apparently, they used a similar theory as inspiration for his look in the movie...This isn't exactly what happens in the comic, but on a visual level, it's pretty much the same..HerosOnFilm said:Not sure the truth of this or not, but it appeared as though X2 Colossus' skin became transparent, revealing the metal musculature underneath (as if it's there all the time)..
HerosOnFilm said:Again, I don't know if they will even explain his sexual orientation, or if there is necessarily enough screentime for Cudmore's character to even go down that road. Personally, I'm not a fan of Ultimates Colossus...I'm not homophobic, but to me the character isn't gay. Would I be upset if he was in the movie? No, but i think right now they have too much going on with the mutant discrimination as it is. Plus, does every movie/show have to have a token homosexual in it? If it's ingrained in the character and that's who he is, that's one thing, but I rather not have his character be gay just to reinforce how bad mutant discrimination is..
Powers:
mutant-exotic carbon-polymer flesh gives him enhanced strength and can reorganize its structure with a charge of bio-energy so that his entire body transforms into organic steel, increasing his size, strength, speed and endurance while making him virtually indestructible and capable of surviving without food or air
Iceman/Psylocke said:Exactly - don't change what someone naturally is just to get a box ticked - Use a mutant like Northstar who actually is gay
Chamber_UK said:Does anybody else not think the term 'organic steel' is just pointless!!!!
The term organic means anything carbon based (no it does not mean anything natural, biological, or GM free) as in the element C, steel on the other hand is the metal element iron. Now where is there any carbon in steel?????? its a pointless and inaccurate description.
