Yeah in the X2 commentary Singer was saying, I think it was him, that when he 'metals' up, you see all his muscle fibers, and thats where the organic metal/layer is coming from....

I think people can clearly see from that shot that Colossus won't look as bad as he did in the other pic. I doubt they've finished all the FX work on him yet.

not sure if this was questioned yet. but doesnt it his face look weird with him having actual pupils as opposed to him having his eyes one color like silver or white?

Tried to get a bigger pic of Colossus. I have to admit he doesn't look too bad. Though I wish the hair would look just like normal when metalled up. Don't like the fact that his hairdo gets a protective metal coating instead of just turning to metal.

His hair has turned to metal in most of the comics. Its really easily seen in Astonishing X-men, when he is in metal form, its all shiney and doesn't move. When he isn't in metal form, it just looks like hair....

I know that his hair turns to metal. But I just don't like that it looks like one solid piece of coating when metalled up. Sure, looks fine in the comics, but I liked that in X2 his hair still looked kinda spikey, and you could really tell that it is hair because of that.

Exactly. And that's how it should look in X3 as well. After all he is turning his entire body into metal, and isn't just casting a protective shell around it.

Every single hair-strand would just turn to metal and his hair would still look the same. With the exception that it would now give off a metalic sheen(?) and you'll probably get a bloody hand if you're trying to pat his head.

I just hate how it looks right now.

Honestly, he looks fine to me..."Great" is a more accurate word..

They NEED to have a Juggernaut vs. Colossus fight! Just as much as a Logan vs. Sabretooth fight. It just has to happen. Colossus should lose though, but have it be pretty close.

They must have one!!! It would make no sense to have two powerhouses on oppisite sides not fight!?! And it should be huge, almost overshadowing the whole battle. Sort of like in The Return of the King, when Eowyn fought the Shadow King(Ringwraith). Colossus should lose, but have it be close.

Colossus does look worse in his metalic form than he did in X2. I don't really like the metal hair.
BTW, they need a Juggy Colossus fight!

We've BARELY seen Colossus in metal form in X3 and as said FX work isn't finished. I think he looks great in the promo shot!

I love the look in the promo shot, with the metallic hair and all. He would look too funny (like in X2) with his hair being normal.
