The Official Colossus/Daniel Cudmore thread

Oh yeah, and I would have loved to see more interaction with him and other mutants, besides Rogue and Bobby (for like a split second). How do you think movieverse Kitty would have liked him?
 
Mdizzle i agree with some of your points. Maybe i was just excited to see him that his metalling up scene was enough to make me happy :)
I think at the funeral maybe pete could have had more to do except sit there. Maybe he could have been comforting kitty, because he is still her friend. And maybe after prof x death, when they are all sitting in his office twiddling their thumbs pete could have more of a role, as a leader.
I still think kitty and pete should be a couple. I know brett wanted the rogue/bobby/kitty love triangle but pete deserves someone!
 
I think he could have been strong, and supported a lot of ppl during the crisis, seeing as he helped hold things together during the raid of the mansion in X2. Even a scene in X3 where he asks Ororo or the Professor or whatever if there's anything he can do to help...it's obvious he wants to. Yeah I nearly had a brain aneurysm in X2 when I saw him metal up...heh heh. Showing Kitty and Peter as at least friends would have worked, even with the Rogue/Bobby/Kitty triangle. At some point she's going to realize where she's not wanted, and all the while there is Pete, the strong, silent type, giving a shoulder to cry on...or more, heh heh.
 
Hehe how about when he's carrying the girl as he opens the door topless? That was a hot scene.
Thats a good idea! She has to realise that Pete is the shy but strong guy that she needs. I think it will be soo cute.
 
^^ oh yeah of course. I think for me it really portrayed him as a leader, but more importantly a protector of others.
 
Yeh thats very true. But i was disappointed to see he wasnt featured in the rest of the movie after he escaped with the kids. We dont even know where they went.
But yeh the whole metal up scene was great. It made me smile, as the guards tried to shoot him and he's like "Okay try and shoot me!" I watched the x3 dvd special features, daniel is actually on the dvd talking a bit. He doesnt say much, maybe he's shy? but hes super sweet.
 
Haven't watched the DVD yet. X3 he could have been so much more usefull if you think about it...he can metal up, so can't be struck by those darts containing the cure...even in terms of the whole plot of X3 i think they could have taken advantage of this fact. It sucks that, while discussing our favorite scenes with Cudmore, our choices are pretty limited...lol

Oh no lie...why wasn't that in the movie??? Bobby's powers are cool as well...and seeing Pete teamed up is interesting too!

I know that scene is great, because you see the two of them acting as a team and gives colossus more sceentime. But silly brett had to cut it out :cmad:
 
I was very dissapointed in the scene where all the X-Men are sitting around discussing if the school should stay open and Colossus isnt there...thats freakin bullcrap...I think Ratner is jealous of Cudmore and decided to ruin Colossus...lol
 
On the X3dvd Ratner said he cut that scene with Colossus and Bobby teaming up against Phat because it looked too "cartoony"

It might have been this thread, or some other thread on this forum. But see, i think it would have been appropriate with colossus hugging some of the kids comforting them. Maybe colossus could be crying as well, but trying to hide it.

I actually really like that bobby colossus scene, shame its not on my dvd extras (england). I dont know what brett means by too cartoony but its better than nothing.
 
I love that pic of Colossus....Maybe we`ll get to see that scene if the Director`s cut of X3 comes out
 
Oh wow....and wasn't he in that scene, MoPlaYa? like in the background relatively invisible?...haha. Yeah I think that would have been the perfect opportunity for him to jump in, and show those leadership skills. Like before, most of the them were younger, bobby, rogue, kitty, colossus. Still, some of those characters demonstrated that they were ready to take on more responsibilty, aka Rogue flying the X-Jet, and of course, Colossus taking charge of the little ones, protecting them and leading them to safety.

Theresa you can PM me for my Msn. And yes, I totally see that, him comforting the kids and basically taking care of everyone...which is why I think they could have added him in as a "shoulder to cry on" for Kitty when she realizes her rejection from Bobby. Heh heh.
 
I mean the scene discussing the school...oh wait maybe I'm thinking of another scene? When they're watching the news on Tv? Haha, totally different scene...oh well, I know for sure he's barely visible in the background on that one :P

I'm not into how they made him look like a dumbass who can barely speak. There were a few times when Wolverine said something to him and Colossus could have replied, but I guess the writers couldn't be arsed to write a few more lines.
 
^ totally, but isnt colossus supposed to be kinda shy? So maybe thats a possibility to why he doesnt talk much, but i would have liked something, especially when he's being acknowledged, just the writers spend too much on the other "important" characters they just neglect the little ones.
Im glad he was at least at the funeral but it would have been nice to see him talking to rogue or something.
 
yeah but him not saying anything at all when spoken too made him seem kinda mute. Daniel can talk ya know
