You're drawn to debate the points because you're confused. Once that's cleared up, it won't be an issue.
How about you worry about your own confusion rather than others'? You keep telling others that they don't know anything or that they're confused. Again, this makes you seem like a pompous wanna-be know-it-all. I'm not confused. You're just arrogant...
*sigh*
The confusion is getting pretty annoying. Almost to the point where it's not even worth trying to explain it to you. Please at least try to follow the conversation and not just feverishly type away because you're "angry at someone on the internet."
Not as annoying as you telling others what they do or do not know. If you want to discuss the suit, then do it. There's no reason to tell someone else, especially someone who designs for a living, that they don't know what they're talking about or that they're confused. Again, read my sig...karma is a ***** and I will continue to throw this kind of stuff back in your face as long as you throw it out.
When breaking up an expansive space, it should be done minimally. Would a bright pink bow tie break up the space more? Heck yes it would. But it would be flippin' overboard. It would look forced.
I bright pink bow tie is not only overboard and forced, but it's illogical. There's nothing else on his suit that is bright pink or reflective of a modern day business suit. However, the piping on his suit fits superhero suits just fine. The color of it is a matter of preference, and some of us simply prefer it to be red.
Why go more than what is "sufficient"? You yourself said the black piping was "sufficient". Why go beyond that to the point where it becomes more distracting than is necessary?
Do you need a car? Do you need a house? Do you need a tv? Do you need a microwave? Do you need a self phone or a computer? Does Superman need a cape a big shield on his chest or big red boots? Does he even need a suit at ALL?? If you can answer these questions then you've just answered your own...
When you go beyond what is necessary, THAT is what becomes unnatural and forced. It's just throwing in colors for the sheer sake of having splashes of color everywhere. At that point, there's no logic for it being there other than to have random colors.
Again, it's not like we want the piping to be hot pink or green. We'd like for it to be red because it ties it in with the rest of the suit and breaks up the midsection better than it does if it's dark blue. It gives the piping more purpose.
See, people like you are the real problem with these types of boards, and the reason I avoid them during the "offseason" (i.e., when a movie isn't in production). You think you have to be critical of something to be a "true" fan, even if the thing you're criticizing is good, as is. It's why people HATE fanboys and don't take their opinions seriously.
No, the problem with these boards are people who claim to know everything and can't discuss issues without turning it into a personal issue with the poster or posters. You don't know me at all, yet you claim that I don't know this and I'm confused about that. For your info, I've always HATED when people bring up "true fans" because you can't define what makes one a fan. I was simply saying that you're not a blind fan who follows the other sheep. However, I guess you took that more as an insult rather than a compliment.
Btw...if you're an active poster on these boards, consider yourself a fanboy. Fanboys don't hold a particular type of view. You are here discussing/debating/arguing with other fanboys on this forum (taking them seriously)...so you might as well consider yourself a fanboy as well.
