Damnit. Now you're Johnny 4 Times.

And yes, I tried eating the multiverse once but couldn't make it past all the Denny's.
Constantly with the nicknames. First I'm Johnny 2 Times, then I'm Aristotle, now I'm Johnny 4 Times.

Y'all make me dizzy.

anyone know where i can read blackest night #0, i missed free comic book day :( also what are the new laws that the guardians have enacted so far for the corps?

Free Comic Book Day....that's high on my list of things I miss about home.

And now, who's going to ask the next Stupid DC question? Damn, it was me....

Try Midtown comics.

Seconded. I also missed out on FCBD. I still added it to my subscription list afterwards, and Midtown immediately added it to my next shipment. :yay:

It's alright, but I wouldn't call it a definitive Superman tale.

Here's an easy and subjective one for you.

I noticed recently the Batman: Hush Returns TPB on a coworkers desk. Having not read comics regularly in a long time and never having read anything about Hush I borrowed it from him the day I took my last exam. I'd heard good things about the character and was excited to read this. But it kinda sucked. Am I alone in this? Did I just not get it or was it not good?

Were Barry and Bruce really close when they were on the JLA together? The similarities between the 2 is ridiculous.

I knew there was a reason I didn't like Barry as soon as he came back :o

Are they really that similar? Keep in mind that Barry's whole "tragic past" is a retcon that Johns invented, oh, about two minutes ago.

Ah ha, didn't know that. I assumed he was always this brooding and determined to catch every criminal in the world.

I didn't read it, but I believe in the Rann-Thanagar Holy War it was mentioned in the first issue that Hawkman may actually be Katar instead of Carter. What was the conclusion on that? Because in every appearance I've seen Hawkman in they never mention that and call him Carter.

So... Johns brought back Barry Allen, and decided that the best way to introduce him to New Earth would be to give him an origin and crime-fighting motivation remarkably similar to Batman's?

Is that what DC has come to? Turning people into Batman? Does Wonder Woman have a Wondercave I'm not aware of?

Not yet, but wait until Wonder Woman: Rebirth. :)

He's kinda both. Carter is just the current Hawkman, but has the memories of Katar and the many before him. There's a kinda DUNE thing going on with Hawkman...like Paul, Leto II, and the Bene-Gesserits with the whole 'other-memory' thing.

Oh well, if anyone can make sense of Hawkman's convoluted past...it's Starlin.

**** no. Johns had finally cleaned that up. Starlin's just messing with it for no good reason.

If his past is cleaned up, please explain it to me. I've accepted that he's Carter Hall, but I honestly don't know what's going on with the whole reincarnation thing, who Katar Hol is, or what it all means.
