Apparently he was trapped to fuel some kind of something power prison something. I dunno. Like I said, it sucked.

He didn't kill Linda, he killed Giovanni Zatara, Zatanna's father. Who was already dead, but now he's...deader. I dunno. Like I said, it sucked.

Linda is just stuck in hell I think, because according to Keith Giffen her true nature is evil and she deserves to be stuck there. I dunno. Like I said...

When Lobo died, he went to hell because...well, that's where he deserved to go.

But he was so powerful, the only way to keep him in hell (or at least under control while there) was to build a prison around him fueled by his own power. Therefore, the harder Lobo fought to get it, the stronger the prison became.

From what I read, Lobo's soul is assumed to have been sent to Hell after he joined Young Justice and died on Apokolips. Also, it was Lobo's suffering that powered the prison.

But we've seen Lobo since then. Was the one from 52 and all that stuff a soulless clone?

Anyone know Martha Wayne's maiden name? Or the Wayne family ethnicity? I imagine Italian but I could be mistaken.

No clue. I never really thought about it because they always felt like the quintessential upper-class American family to me.

He might not be soulless, but I think you're essentially right. It's all a bit confusing. If I'm reading it right, Lobo was magically de-aged to a teenager and joined Young Justice. He was then killed on Apokolips. But, apparently, the magic also gave him back his ability to clone from a drop of spilled blood. So a whole number of mini-Lobo's popped up, finished the fight, then killed each other off. The last surviving Lobo got to age to adulthood.

So, the original Lobo dies and gets sent to Hell, but his surviving clone (who retains all of Lobo's memories because of they way his cloning works) shows up in 52 and stuff.

It seems to still be a lot of speculation. I didn't see anything confirming that it was the non-clone version, so it could have been the most recent version that appeared in 52. But...why would you kill off someone like Lobo without ever mentioning it?

Probably far to many to mention.

Durring the late 50's and the 60's Batman was getting some strange ability almost every month.

My fave was "Speeding Bullets".

This is one that they seem to go back & forth on a lot. Does Superman need food, water or air?

He needs all three he just doesn't need them as much as everyone else.

I disagree.

His need for Food, water, and Air, has been in direct proportion of his solar charge.

Based on Canon,... if he Sun-Dips, he doesn't need any of them and can exist for thousands of years snoozing in a yellow star and above.

Can someone give me the TPB reading order for Geoff Johns superman run? Thanks!

I have Batman year one, the long halloween, the man who laughs, and joker and ive also read arkham asylum. Im just wondering what are some other must read batman titles?

Thinking of picking up a Secret Six trade, and I see there are two. Should I get the Six Degrees one first, then move onto the Unhinged arc after?

Dark Victory
HUSH
A death in the family
Under the Hood vol. 1 and 2
Batman and Son

Ok, here's a quick one about the whole stuff happening in Green Lantern. I know that Johns and co. based some of their ideas for the Sinestro Corp War on a prophecy in a story that Alan Moore did in the '80s. I was just wondering what elements were taken from that and if the upcoming Blackest Night also takes ideas from that story

I was thinking that the only thing they took from that was the mention of a "Blackest Night". I could be wrong, but I think it was something Kilowog mentioned...

I'm probably way off base. but meh, I tried. I get credit for that, right?

Well, I'm only going by what a friend told me, but the character Sodam Yat was introduced in that story and he was suppose to be the ultimate Green Lantern and would be the final GL to fall at the 'end of days' of the GLC. What he described to me was actually pretty damn depressing sounding

I haven't wikied/googled it or anything like that, but that friend just told me that Sinestro Corps War and Blackest Night are based off of similar concepts in that prophecy and I thought that was interesting

there sure is a lot in the GLC about all these "last" GLs. Kyle Rayner, Sodom Yat...
kinda loses its zing after having multiple "final" GLs.
I did love how Kyle was the Torchbearer and all whatnot though.

I dropped by the shop the other day and glanced at a few issues of JSA. I didn't notice the KC Superman on any of the covers, he hasn't been killed off has he?
