Because this is comics. I'd like Bart to come back and not suck. The only problem with his being the Flash was that it totally sucked until the last 5 or 6 issues.

It'll be interesting to see how they bring Barry back. But what's going to happen with Wally, maybe they'll go back to calling him "Impulse"? And I actually heard rumor that Superboy would be coming back next year? Anyone know if Time Warner settled with the Seigal family? And I wonder what this means for Wally's JLA spot, I think the dynamic with him back on the "Titans" is cooler anyway.

Nah, I fell off FC months ago, started to pick up number 5 today, but bougt the latest Booster Gold instead... t:
But what's Barry doing back anyway? I thought I'd read somewhere that he just sort of hangs out int he Speed Force because at some point is powers were actually becoming detrimental to his health??? And since they brought back Hal and here came Barry, I wonder if Ted is next? Booster, Ted and Ralph "Time-Masters" I can see it!

He came back in a flash of lightning in Final Crisis. I stopped reading, so I don't know if the how or why of it was explained. Knowing Morrison, it probably wasn't.

Ted ain't coming back. Johns made that pretty clear in his Booster Gold arc where Booster found that bringing Ted back would result in all kinds of disaster in the present. Plus, DiDio's really been pushing the new Blue Beetle for some reason.

Ted's not popular enough with the silver age lovers to warrant a rebirth.

Aquaman will likely be next. Wearing f**king dish washing gloves and riding a giant sea horse.

If he can become as big a player in the DC universe as he deserves to be, I could probably forgive that. Really, I'm beyond even caring about the details. Just get Aquaman back on the scene and do something awesome enough with him to make people stop talking s*** about how lame he is.

People will never stop talking about how lame Aquaman is. Everyone remembers him from the old Superfriends cartoon, and no comic (no matter how awesome) is going to wipe away those memories. If the average person knew that he already has about 12,000 other powers, it wouldn't be an issue.

It's like all the people who don't know Wonder Woman can fly, and try to write movies where all she does is hop.
