Well people who have read the comics for a long time should have an easier time understanding whats going on in them shouldn't they. I was merely commenting on the fact even comic book reviews were confused on what was going on.

No. Not at all. Aren't we all kind of annoyed when that's the case? That's not how Final Crisis is at all. The confusion of the book has nothing to do with continuity, so if you were justifying your confusion that way, I think you were wrong. You're confused because it's an abstract, nonlinear, difficult piece of art* that's open to interpretation and appreciation on myriad levels. You're going to be confused until you really put your head into it and read through it a few times.

In the recent 20 Answers With Dan Didio video, he concluded by answering a bunch of questions from one guy, but not saying the questions, just the answers. The questions were provided in the comments section. Here are the questions, with paraphrased answers, for anyone curious.

When will Power Girl, Zatanna, Justice League be hitting shelves? Two very soon, one of them not so. Let's assume that Zatanna is the one that isn't hitting soon.

What is the new Simone project? I'll talk about that later in the year.

is there going to be a deathstroke family book staring deathstroke, jericho and ravager? No. Good, I wouldn't want one.

Where will Kobra's story lead into? How does the Solomon Grundy connect to the rest of the DCU? Justice Society.

Whats the future of Checkmate? will we see more? Justice Society. I think Dan might actually have gotten confused due to the double question immediately previous, and actually have skipped this one, because what? What place does Checkmate have in JSA?

Where will doom patrol be seen next? Definitely in their own series. At first I thought this referred to Checkmate, because of the above confusion.

What story will Willingham/ sturges be tackling in JSA? Nazis. Think this was seeded pretty early on in Johns' relaunch, so it looks like Willingham/Sturges are going to be wrapping up some Johns subplots before they go their own way.

What are the plans for the Guardian and Agent Liberty? They'll be around Metropolis. Except for Agent Liberty, who's freakin' dead.

Will we see anythnig more from the Freedom Fighters? If people ask, we'll do it. OK people. Ask for it.

What is the progress on developing new teams or characters from different countries? Will we see any title take on political elements that will involve foreign super humans? Global Guardians? You'll be seeing some of them in "some of the final aftermath series." No idea what that means at all. Presumably it refers to the aftermath of Final Crisis, so maybe "Final Aftermath" would be the proper capitalization, but still, does anyone see this on the solicitation lists?

Where will the fallout of Final Crisis be seen? Same as previous question.

What are the plans for the new gods after FC? We're gonna give them a rest for awhile.

It was said Rucka will have 3 new titles- one is Action, what are the other 2? The Question? Batwoman? Spectre? Checkmate? Won't talk about it until later in the year. Let me just say how excited I am that DC didn't actually lose Rucka the way I thought they had.

Alan Scott and Mr. Terrific have both been Checkmate's White King. That's a connection. I could see Checkmate turning up in JSA.

I'd be excited for the Rucka titles, except I have a feeling they'll be Questoya or Batwoman ones. It's highly unlikely they'll give Checkmate another go, since sales basically died after Rucka left and weren't that great while he was on. But I'll keep an eye out for them. If it's got Rucka, it can't be all bad.

I'm guessing a while. She's part of the diversity initiative at DC right now, so they want her to become a big hit. I believe I heard an ongoing series was in the works for her a while back, in fact. I don't know if that's still true or not.

I feel like this is another one of those things where one guy doesn't like it and then the next guy doesn't like it and it snowballs into this gigantic thing where nobody can actually justify how much everybody seems to hate the character.

One of Rucka's new titles will be the long-rumored Batwoman title. He's already posting art from it on his livejournal.

I don't hate her, she just kind of seems...there. I hope the Batwoman series is fascinating and that Rucka turns her into a great character, but right now, she's a gimmick who has done nothing interesting of note.

If a new character hasn't done anything worth liking them for, then a lot of people automatically hate them. Cruise the Young X-Men thread and see how much we hate Ink and Graymalkin just because they're new and characters we already like aren't in the cast.

Yeah, but Batwoman hasn't done that to anybody. Nobody isn't in a book because of Batwoman.
