Did Batman die a different way in RIP than he did in Final Crisis? Because I'd heard he died in RIP, but I read Final Crisis, and... well...

He was assumed dead in a helicopter Crash, (Which happened in RIP) but he got captured by Darksied and torchered, then he escaped, shot Darksied with some New God killing gun, and proptley got blasted to the stone age or something by Darksied's Omega beams.( Which happened in FC)

Right, but not before Darkseid's omega beams created a charred copy of his corpse for no reason.

I'm still not sure who to blame for that one.

I think maybe it kinda did like what went down with Booster Gold in 52. When he was thought dead, and it turned out he just swapped places with his actual future Corpse.

Bruce Wayne hasnt appeared in anything ever since he was seen in tat cave right...?
So DC is going to leave him there forever? =|

Are the Teen Titans aware of Bart and Connor's return to life? (I know in Flash: Rebirth Bart is seen with the Teen Titans, but it seems like this story takes place later in continuity than the current stories).

I'm not exactly sure what your asking.

R.I.P. took place ,for the most part, before the events of the end of Final Crisis.

Battle for The Cowl takes place a few weeks after the end of Final Crisis.

Also, comics that come out in the same month dont always take place in a close relitive time to each other.

So Batman could be running around in JLA and Detective released in the same month but the stories are taking place days, weeks or even months from each other.

Yeah, but I thought Batman had been "missing" during R.I.P, how could he show up in FC? So the events of BFTC were because Bruce was actually confirmed dead from the events of FC and NOT because the Black Glove has him bagged-up somewhere?

Last, yeah I know stuff that comes out inthe same month don't actually take place in or around the same time frame. Marvel gets a away with this with having Wolverine in 4 or 5 books :woot:

Flash: Rebirth does seem to take place a little bit in the future. I imagine the rest of the DC universe will synch up whenever Legion of Three Worlds actually manages to end.

The really short answer is that after the events of RIP concluded on the helicopter Bruce left to assist in the FC effort.

Pretty much.Althou I would question your use of "confirmed dead".

After Superman recovered the Body of Batman and the Crisis was over BFTC takes place.

In the two FC tie-in Batman issues it shows that Bruce survived the helicopter crash and more or less went about being Batman as usual until the events of FC begin shortly after

Has Batman ever actually used his cape to glide or slow his descent, like he does in the movies? If so, could someone post images?
How many instances are there of Batman gaining superpowers?

I know he has used it to slow his decent. Probably does every time he drops from a high ceiling onto the bad guys. Flying? I don't remember anything specific. But in Batman 500 (I believe), The cape almost killed Jean-Paul by hindering his ability to leap out far enough to land in some water. And he redesigned the cape in the new Batman armor to give him the ability to glide better in the air.

And Bats has gotten Superpowers plenty of times. Just recently in Superman/Batman he got Clark's powers.

Yeah, I said confirmed dead because I wasn't sure whether BFTC was taking place because Bruce was 'just missing' or because he actually died in FC? And I rarely pick op tie-in issues. So Bruce survived the crash and went about being Batman.

Does that mean he was planning to be Batman 24/7 (like he isn't already) and just completely drop the Bruce Wayne ID :wow:

No, he actually died in FC as far as the rest of the DCU is concerned (the superhero population anyway), not just missing. We, the readers, know that he's alive somewhere, some time, someplace.

As far as the Bruce Wayne ID, Bruce Wayne was never seen as dying to the general public or anything like that, so presumably he was going to be doing things as normal as both Batman and Bruce Wayne before his 'death' in FC.

After what Simon Hurt did to the Wayne name I wouldn't be surprised if he was contemplating abandoning it.

Are people aware that Tommy Elliott isn't Bruce Wayne? I imagine they must be, since Elliott's in prison. One would think that'd reflect badly on Wayne's image.

They're not aware, in that Faces Of Evil thing Hush pretended to be Wayne for awhile until Catwoman caught him, so he's not be exposed as a fake or anything yet
