The OFFICIAL Deleted Scenes Links Thread

there's a problem?

Yes.

When TrailerCues posted the links, it abbreviated them, and the entire URL wasn't shown in text.

When I copied and pasted them to the front page, it only took those incomplete URL's.

TrailerCues' links worked, but my copies of them on the main post didn't.

I went through and fixed them though, so that the entire URL is on the main page, so it should work now.

That's why some people were having trouble downloading, they were getting the links off the main post. Those who didn't have problems were getting it from TrailerCues' post.

Like I said, I redid the links though, so they should all be good.

That unreleased X3 teaser was pretty darn cool. A shame they didn't release it last year.

I think they actually went to Washington to shoot that particular bit. Strange thing is they're using John Powell's main theme from X3 and he wasn't hired until December. So it looks like they removed the original music from the teaser and replaced it with this.

Those who can't seem to play the deleted scenes should try Power DVD, like DarknessofDeath suggested. It works perfectly fine for me.:yay:

do you guys want me to post them? i have them in wmv format so they'll play on your media players correctly

You have all the scenes in WMV?

That'd be awesome if you could.

If you have 'em, go ahead and post 'em. When I get back from football, I'll go ahead and edit them into the main post.

God damnit, I really hate that they cut the original X-Men boarding the jet sequence.

It is better in every single way.

It keeps Wolverine more true to the comic book, as he has always been hesitant about the younger X-Men going into battle.

It gives Iceman, Kitty Pryde, and Colossus more of an arc. Iceman steps up as the X-Man he is, and takes charge. Even if Colossus doesn't say anything, he got caught up in the whole "Help them!" bit last go round. This time, he's taking a stand. He's with the X-Men too. He gets to fight too.

Hell, even all the way down to Beast's comment about his old suit. It makes it a lot clearer in the original version. In the theatrical, it's a passing comment about how he can't believe it once fit him. This is a clearer expression that he was once with the X-Men. Not as throw away.

I'm really mad at Ratner for cutting this and going with the version he did. I don't understand why it was cut. Anyone with the 21 deleted scenes, can you guys check the commentary and see what they say about the scene? If they mention anything about why they cut it? This I'd like to hear....

It was cut because Ice-man took away Wolverines focus

I have a small question, and it was probably answered many times, but, well, darn it I can't find the answer so bear with me here.

I have the DVD, with all the scenes mentioned here. However, where is the Beast reciting Shakespeare scene? Is it not on the Region 1 DVD or am I missing something here? I really want to see that one.

Thanks for the help.
Perhaps you could try this method. Its from a website devoted to dvd easter eggs.:woot:

Extended Scene:
Go to "scene selections"
Click on the option for scenes 10 - 12
On the lower right of the screen is another "X"
Click on it to view and extended scene where at the end , Hank recites Shakespeare.

wow they blatantly say that? They don't load on BS on how it's better for the story or more "realistic". Besides it doesn't really take the focus away, it divides it, Storm should have also stepped in to defend them, or say something leader like. Come on Storm don't take all this crap from Logan.

It was so much better. Hughs crappy acting in the original sucked. I hated everytime he was like ready to cry but sort just got choked up.

This is the real reason why Cyclops and Gambit weren't in the film. They are the only characters that can truly distract from Wolverine.

I agree 100%. When I was watching the deleted scenes last night, I wondered: why the hell did they cut this out? Because I thought it was a little strange how Storm, Hank and Logan didn't object to letting the students coming with them. I mean after all, it is a war. Magneto has an army... against 6? I would have thought Storm would want to protect them.

The deleted scene showed just this, how Logan refuses to let them come, because it is too dangerous. Man, these filmakers sure know how to disappoint the fans on every level. :cmad:

well i was listening to the commentary and Ratner says he reads the internet...after the movie...so careful people...he could be reading right now....

DIRECTOR'S

CUT YOU LUNATIC!!!

lol..nice job though.

I'm really curious if its true that Ratner asked to release the film at a later date so he could have more time to finish it... I mean what version would that one have been like than the one we got?

Can someone please post the animatics? I really want to see them as much as the deleted scenes. Please??!

Im ripping them now, i'll upload them after, what format should i convert to?
