You know - I'd forgotten the scene of Kitty and Storm at the graves that was meant to be shown at the end, and we had seen pics of it prior to the release of the film.

Is it included in the deleted scene list too, because I've found no mention of it anywhere.

wow that pisses me off..they had such a good idea for the phoenix effect and they just threw it away because of the "budget"....DAMN YOU FOX!!!! Can anybody try to recreate that using after effects possibly??

Thanks for uploading that Dark Phoenix animatic, The Ones!

Though it looked crude, it was just as intense as the version in the movie, if not cooler. The waves Jean emitted looked awesome, as did the firebird leaving her body when she died.
It seems that out of all the ideas they had for Phoenix, they went with the most simple one.

i was just listening to the producer's commentary and you know what, the Dark Phoenix finale was one of the last things shot (of course in a big green screen room).

WTF, no wonder there was no possible way to put in the actual planned effects. It was in the script, it was in the novelization, there was concept art, and previsualizations.

oh well, we've all been through this before. fox's rushing.

and .vob files? they were in great quality...and you can use every program for dvd!

And here's in details the italian 2-disc version..



disc1: 2 commentaries; alternative ending "rogue returns"; Deleted scenes (yeah, but how many?)

disc2: 3 documentaries, 2 featurette, storyboard,trailer,vignette, galleries, blog, 1 easter egg...

Sigh!

and 2 errors: aUI arad instead of AVI arad, and gallerieW instead of GALLERIE. Sometimes I actually don't understand how these things can happen, without any control..

p.s. I don't know, but to me...all these extras seems the same of your 1-disc version, but we have divided them in 2 discs...
