IF this was the solo flash movie then it would be perfect..!!

but keep the subplots a minimal because its the first solo flash movie. so have it be an origin story with his rival the reverse as bad guy.. so you get more of the conflict between the two..

Why don't any of these have the lightning bolt ear thingys?

I know the concept art shows that they're painted on but, with the picture of Snyder and Momoa with the costume in the background, it looked like they were actually built into the cowl instead of protruding outwards. To me, anyway.

Well I think it is a yellow coloured rectangle shaped bulge instead of bolts.
Flash doesn't really need bolts or ear wings anyways. Although it would be cool.
I think they are going for a simple suit that Barry made by himself, then we will get the classic suit in the solo film.
Well who knows because the concept arts were all inconsistent and looked like they were put together within seconds. I think the final design will look a lot different. Probably even exactly comic book accurate, we don't really know.

I think they are going with the initial suit that Flash might of gone with. Because JL is the first time we ever see him. So these edits are just based on that concept art.
