That would've certainly looked better. Right now his face is like 5/6 forehead. 'K, just exaggerating a little here. But he just looks off without the bangs like in the manga.

if done right...it wouldn't look emo or punk. his hair looks punk the way it is anyway. nothing is more punk than a mohawk and the way his hair is combed at the sides makes it look like a Saiyan version of a mohawk.
