because this is the very same thing happening anyway i'm done with this issue i already know you hate the movie. chatwin will deliver a good goku "general audience" will understand and accept that's my opinion.

I hate what they're doing with this...just like a majority of people do. Sorry for jumping on you. I'm just tired of people comparing other movies to TDK. I understand it's your opinion and I respect that.

It is illogical yet some people will continue to do it. You're right though. I'll admit he looks like Goku here, but that's the only picture I like really.

what confuses me is why all the promotional stuff of Goku is so different from the trailer, I mean Chatwin's hair looks different in almost every scene I seen him in, and if Im not mistaken, Vegeta said a full-blooded saiyan's hair never changes from the day he is born

but in that god awful promo he looked like an ex Elvis Presley wanna be from Back To The Future LOL

he kinda has that innocent Goku look on this pic..

i think the color and lenght never changes .but you can still make a different hairstyle.

Yes color length doesn't change they never said it couldn't be cut, and the flash back to young Nappa at some point and he had hair, so he either shaved it, or Saiyans can go bald.

All those images we've seen of him lead me to believe that he actualy styles his hair. He's already going to highschool, so how far fetched would it be for him to use hair products?

During the last battle he looks really good, messy wild hair with bangs and all, just how Goku's hair should be. During scenes like the jock fight, it looks extremel spikey and not really messy. Like he just gelled the crap out of it straight up.

I can already see it. Other kids making fun of his hair, getting embarrased in front of Chichi. When he plans to go the party, he tries to gel his hair down and look all neat for Chichi. But Saiyan hair is stronger than any hair product known to man.

And by the way, there aren't illogical comparisons either. You can compare anything you want. The purpose of a comparison is to find similarities and differences between one or more things with a common ground. And EVERYTHING has a common ground. To say comparing two actors, both of which finding themselves at the scrutiny of die hard comic fans, is illogical is completely ridiculous.

I'm tired of the comparison myself, but it's still a fair comparison nonetheless.

After repeated viewing of the trailer...I get a tingle down my spine every time I hear the Kamehameha at the end. Even if the rest of the trailer didn't show his acting prowess, it sounds like he at least pulled that off with out it sounding ******ed.

Like DF said, this should apply to both sides. I truly believe that he'll blow, but that's just me. I'm not reserving judgment because of the **** that Fox dishes out year after year. Interesting choice for Goku though.
