maybe in the sequal when they are calling themselves as '' The Z-fighters''
against vegeta and nappa
but still if they wear everything the same it must be the orange outfits

we are talking about art here, logic doesn´t always apply
i didn´t see forbidden kingdom, but even if its garbage, its not enough to say ALL of those type of movies will be garbage
by the way, HIGHLY acclaimed directors need to make the break at some point to become HIGHLY acclaimed. that could happen to james wong after dragoball, just like lotr made it for peter jackson

transformers is japanese...and michael bay is certainly not an acclaimed director of anything...

and the movie worked.


its stupid for anyone to really judge how the movie will be and how it will do without having seen anything but some leaked pics.

people thought less of ironman, and it was big...
people thought great of superman, and it was lacking...

transformers is japanese...and michael bay is certainly not an acclaimed director of anything...

and the movie worked.

Transformers is much easier to translate to be honest. It's robots in our world. DBZ doesn't even take place on our earth. There's no america, asian, europe, etc. You've got to create unique settings. There are fantasy creatures all over the place. You've got capsule technology. Humans with exaggerated abilities and martial arts knowledge.

Seriously, you can't compare the two. I'm not saying the movie sucks before I've seen it. Which I'm not planning on doing anyway until I've seen some positive reviews. But it's harder to pull off than Transformers.
