The Official Goku/Justin Chatwin Thread

i agree..
while i dont agree with the race issue on a whole, i try my best to let others enjoy their own opinions, i just cant seem to stop being a jerk.
although i have no problems with goku being any race, i dont really like the choice of chatwin

now THERE is something we can agree on!

It seems like Goku is definitely in the script, so if Chatwin fails then he'll pretty much get the full blame from me.

nice one, lol.
but i think for continuity sake he would almost have to be the same as goku.
but then again...

That's true. I mean it's not like whites and Asians can come from the same planet lol.

Ya know what's funny? Chatwin ran off to fight aliens in War of the Worlds. And now we actually get to see him do it.

Who would you guys rather have Shia LaBeouf or Zac Effron as Goku...?

Just curious :)

i wouldn't want either, but if i had to between those two...then Shia.

Yes, neither. But at least Zac has more of a resemblance and a better body.

i'll give him that. he's a handsome cat, but i doubt he's a good actor. i haven't seen any of his movies, but i doubt he can match Shia's believability.

Oh, I'd disagree. I think he's a better actor than Shia. Then again, I find Shia's acting like watching a cow get slaughtered, but I digress.

:/

I've heard enough of this Goku one-handed Kamehameha argument, honestly have they even seen or watch Dragonball, didn't Goku use a one handed Kamehameha to blast himself from the ground up and through Piccolo's chest or am I mistaken.

In regards to Justin Chatwin, I didn't pay attention to Chatwin in War of the Worlds, but in The Invisible, and The Chumscrubber I think he did pretty decent

He's using both hands in the trailer. The one hand thing is a completely different scene.

I know that but still even if he did use one hand in movie, again, I ask what's the fuss about?

its so obious that the last clip of goku in the trailer is just a simple ki blast.

he will do the classic kamehameha. the only difference will be that he will load it with hes arms in front.

Did anyone read the pressbook at dbthemovie.com? They talk about the training Chatwin underwent and he even mentions the hair issue. Apparently it evolves over the course of the film into the natural look we see in the last fight. I guess the greasy look is supposed reflect his attempt to fit in. Maybe.

I actually liked that movie. I thought I wouldn't. Chatwin was solid. The music was brilliant.
