- Johns says we'll be learning more about the entities coming up. Hal finds Larfleeze breaking and entering into houses on Earth. (ITS BECAUSE HIS ORANGE, ISN'T IT?!)

Hahaha, awesome.

Wow. Poor Larfleeze. How far you have fallen. Although it is pretty funny.

I didn't notice it before, but damn, Kyle has almost a Nightwing sort of deal going on in the GL Corps now. He's got major ties to every major character in the series--John was a good friend and Kyle helped restore his ability to walk, Ganthet made him a Lantern and acted as a mentor, and Soranik is on her way to a refrigerator his girlfriend.

So what you're saying is.... Kyle is gonna get raped by Tarantula?

Looks good. I don't know how I feel about this whole Atrocitus mess, though. Curious about what Guy's getting himself (and apparently Kilowog and the other one) into.

So I never bothered to read GL corps and I was wondering is it worth picking up along with Emerald Warriors?Seeing as Tomasi wrote Corps for a while it be an indicator as to if to new series will be good. Also any Kyle trades you guys can recommend?

GOD YES!

In my opinion, Green Lantern Corps is a much better book than the GL main title.

Green Lantern: Emerald Twilight

Green Lantern: A New Dawn

Green Lantern: Baptism of Fire

Green Lantern: Emerald Allies

Green Lantern: Emerald Knights

Green Lantern: New Journey, Old Path

Green Lantern: The Power of Ion

Ion (Books 1 & 2): The Torchbearer

So what issue should I jump on?The First one by Bedard? Thanks by the way.

Green Lantern #56 was superfly. I'm diggin' Ophidian-Hector more than I do his regular design.

Everyone must buy this comic on the sole basis that Larfleeze discovers Santa Claus!

ha ha, the blue lantern entity is in livonia, michigan? thats entirely random. i grew up right next to livonia.

Good point. If there isn't really a Larfleeze Christmas special where he learns about baby Jesus, I am quitting comics.

It was a decent issue, but the whole "new guardians" arc feels like filler. Its like Johns has lost a purpose since he finished his trilogy....

Well, he's got the mystery hobbit running around in both GL and GLC, kidnapping entities and Manhunters, so I'm sure something will come of that. But, yeah, it does feel like filler trying to find all the entities till the next big catastrophe occurs.

I do not know if he lost a purpose but I had the same impression: a filler. The issue was neat nevertheless, but weird connction between this issue and the last in NY, with Carol and Sinestro. All of a sudden.
Larfleeze was very funny, loved it, but it sure contrasts with the dangerous glutton he was on Okaara.
GLC was a good issue. I love Cyborg superman since "Wanted Hal Jordan". The suit, the purpose, the abilities, the manhunters.

On a side note, the comics of the cartoon "the brave and the bold" was indeed with the Green Lantern corp vs Cyborg superman. Not so good, but it was funny to see recent stuff integrated in the comics of the cartoon: batman dressed like a GL, the cockyness of Hal, and the whole story smelled like the story of Winick's Kyle Rayner being targeted by the manhunters in order to discover the secrets of the ring.

I liked this issue, it's certainly building up to a bigger story. I also liked that Johns made Larfleeze smarter again. His english was *really* broken in Blackest Night, which was abit bleh. Also OH YEAH SANTA CLAUS!!!!!

GLC was decent. I'm kind of bored with this Henshaw/Alpha Lanterns arc, though. I'm really enjoying the new characters and how Bedard is handling them, but I just wish they were dealing with something more interesting than Henshaw, who's a lame villain to me, and the Alpha Lanterns, who've always seemed like a stupid idea to me.
