The Official Hulk Thread...

I don't think there is a Hulk thread... if there is, please forgive me as the Hype Search function never really works at 100%.

Anyhoo, I just picked up Hulk #474 (or Hulk vol.3 #95) and it was pretty decent.

This whole "Planet Hulk" storyline, while done before in premise, is aa nice read with great art. I stopped buying teh Hulk in the late 90's (much like most of the comics I was buying at the time), and I've been picking it up with this story (which means I have about 8 years of back issues to collect now )

Anybody else reading this book?

I was pretty lucky today...

I've been hesitant to pick up the Hulk, because like so many titles that I gave up on in 1997, if I jump on it again, I feel the need to get the missing issues so as to not have any gaps in my collection.

Anyhoo, Hulk 92 & 93 have long been sold out as well as their second printings. But this morning, I find Hulk 92, 93, 94 & 95 on the rack and they're first prints. The guy at my shop says that he cancelled someone's account (because he hasn't shown up in 6 months), and these Hulk issues were in his file and he says I can have them for cover price minus my 25% discount. I also picked up the guy's other Hulk issues going back to House of M.

Now I have to dig up over 80 issues, but I miss back issue hunting sometimes.

I like this artist,but I just wish Deodato would return for one more issue. His Hulk was beautiful.

Yeah, ive never been a big Hulk fan and after Jones run on Hulk I swear him off forever, but I picked up the first issue of Planet Hulk and loved it, great run so far.

I started buying the Hulk after the house of M and to be honest it's been a good ride, I just can't wait for him to get back because if Ironman and Mr Fanastic think they have problems now, wait until the Hulk comes back and gets payback(well at least I hope he does).

I have from the mid-200's up to the end of vol.2

I did have an Incredible Hulk #102 once, which was the first issue of the Hulk since his original 6 issue run.

I enjoyed Giant-Sized Hulk, it was pretty good especially with the reprinting of Hulk The End

I've always liked the character and the idea of Hulk but I never bought any of his comics till the House of M tie ins and now i LOVE IT,

my favorite issue so far was that self contained story Peter David wrote that took place in London I forget the issue number.

I just picked up the Hulk Visionaries : Peter David Volume 1 so hopefully that will catch me up on some of the old school stories

And I am ALSO loving Planet Hulk, and I can't wait to see the looks and Iron Man and Mr. Fantastic's faces when Hulk returns pissed off with a HUGE alien army.

I'm shocked that he didn't take up SS's offer and come back to Earth. Makes me wonder what's gonna cause him to come back home in the end?

Once he's had all the fun he can have, Hulk is pissed that they sent him there, but he's gonna have as much fun as he can before he returns to earth. People actually like him fighting and desroying **** on Planet Hulk.

Planet Hulk has been a great run so far...I think he will conquer the planet and then back to Earth to conquer it. He is also getting stronger from comic to comic (he was weakenned by the trip there).

yeah i reallly like how with each issue you can subtly see how he is slowly gaining his strength back.....aswell as losing control of his rage from time to time (ex. him continuing to smash Silver Surfer into the ground after he had already won) I'm also reallly wondering why hasn't Hulk reverted back into Bruce Banner at all? And I wanna see what happens when he eventually does

The name of this event is called PLANET Hulk so you can pretty much bet he is going to take over the place.

i think planet hulk was one of the best ideas marvel ever did with the hulk. i always wonder how that meeting went down with the idea to send him to another planet.
