Superman's the only real exception. Almost all his poster images have him in flight. Though I suppose that's repetitive too.

To a point, it kinda is repetitive. I am hoping for the Man of Steel, we see Supes fighting Zod on the poster.

It's just a psoter, lol. Look at the posters for the Star Wars films. Are they repetitive as well?

I like Raimi's spidey movies, but i'm glad he is gone.He would of kept doing the same thing over and over.No masked spidey/villain,MJ taken hostage, etc.

Watched SPider-Man (2002) today. Still love it just as always!

The Green Goblin's theme kicked so much ass as did all the music. Elfman really had a different sound for this franchise.

I've finally come to accept Harry's costume in Spider-Man 3. He only wanted to get revenge for his father's death; he didn't want to turn into the monster that Norman was. Hence, no goblinesque mask. In retrospect I really like the idea. Before I was pretty critical of the decision.

tbh, I've always felt that was the reason. Why would he wear his father's gear if he was just going after Peter? it makes sense.

The same reason he wore his father's gear in the comics. To avenge his dad by looking like him. Trying to be like him which is what Harry always aspired to. Being like his father.

Yes, that's true, but things work differently in films. In the comics, wasn't Harry even a bit more on the pyschotic side? Especially towards his demise in The SPectacular SPder-Man issue 200.

Either way, it was never a thing that bothered me because I could see what they were trying to do. They definitely payed homage to SS-M issue 200 by having Harry redeem himself even though it wasn't exactly by the end of the movie.

Tbh, I love both the comic and movie version of Harry as the Goblin. They both fit. Btw, Sal Buscema's art on SS-M was incredible. He's one of my favorite artists.

I still attest the new Spidey movie will likely be 40% repetitive from Raimi's first Spidey.

The smile Ock gives MJ right before he kidnaps her is so menacingly awesome, lol. Just wanted to point that out.

I still think the best scene of the entire trilogy is the one where aunt May says the "I believe there's a hero in all of us" line. No action or explosions. I don't know, I just get chills every time I see it.
You just like Oprah
Maybe you enjoy the idea of the hero within you

The thing that annoys me with USM

I don't care much, think the origin will be good

You don't call the main trilogy's posters repetitive at all....you don't talk trash to classic films at all :woot:

But the prequel trilogy, you can call their posters repetitive...and you can also call those films ****.

tbh, I've always felt that was the reason. Why would he wear his father's gear if he was just going after Peter? it makes sense.

With this logic, why even wear any kind of get up in the first place?

I understood the decision but still think he should have worn a Goblin costume. It's carrying on a legacy, avenging your father's death, and all that stuff Joker said. I would've wanted to make sure the Green Goblin's mask was the last thing my father's killer would ever see.

Of course it'll be good, the origin that Raimi did was good, it's hard to get it wrong.

It just still feels so soon to me. It would be like a reboot of Batman right after The Dark Knight Rises and the new director does an origin story and the first hour is about Bruce Wayne being trained in the mountains. It would just feel repetitive. That's how I felt when I saw the new pic of Garfield with Sallie Fields and Uncle Ben from the Departed.

1 pet peeve I have with Spider-Man 1 was that the criminals and what not looked so freaking corny, like all of them during that montage and what not. At least in S-M2 when Peter took out those dudes before he tried to see MJ's play, they looked somewhat realistic.
