I find that the best is the Rotten Tomatoes critic scores. Most of the opinions from critics seem to accurately reflect the popularity from the masses. It isn't perfect and they are clear exceptions like most Michael Bay movies, but it is the best we've got.

I feel this way as well. I used to follow the Metacritic aggregates, but in terms of reflecting the overall picture I think RT is superior, despite it's flaws. Clearly audience ratings are not the best gauge.

Snap. The critic scores usually reflect the overall consensus with the public over the movies. Not always perfectly but close enough.

Disagreed. Friendships where people with feelings for each other can still have amicable friendship if one not want to be with the other. Peter asking her because they good friends still. That is same reason why he go see her play because he is friend and friends do that. MJ just not want it to lead more because she getting married that why she say that to him. Harry still have romance feelings for MJ but they still be friends after she break up with him and they hang out and go do things together. It not mean dating. You should understand that.

God bless you too.
They didn't go out to eat and them hanging wasn't so they could be romantically together. That was the reason Peter asked her to eat, not to be friends, but because he was interested in her romantically. Thank you!

God bless you! God bless everyone in your life!

No, it's not. If asking your friend to go get something to eat is asking them out, then I've asked every single one of my friends, males included, for a date.

its relational context

she knows Peter likes her, therefore its asking her out

you can't "just be friends" with someone you have a crush on

Disagreed. He send her flowers for her plays. They very comfortable around each other. She even go and have dinner at his house in 3rd film. That make it likely that the kind of friendship they have. In real life too people who have feelings or crush on friend can still be friend in platonic friendship if they both value friendship. That is truth of life. Peter not wrong to ask MJ to get food. It not a date invitation.

Disagreed. They be best friends for 2 years after Spider-Man 1 and nothing happen between them. That happen after MJ find out Peter have feelings for her. So they have strong friendship and they not even dating. You can just be friends with person you have crush on. There some real people who have https://www.reddit.com/r/AskWomen/comments/2rqr2c/can_you_be_friends_with_someone_if_you_also_have/ http://www.answerology.com/index.as...ends-with-someone-you-have-feelings-for-.html

So you wrong about that. It happen in real life all time. Maybe what you mean you cannot. Other people might feel same like in links there. But everyone not same.

I re-watched the trilogy back in July (I forced myself to sit through SM3) and I am sad to say that while I still enjoyed the first two, I did not enjoy them anywhere near as much as I used to. They have aged IMO and I think superhero films have gotten better over the years. I am happy to see the first two are still popular though. When those films came out they were definitely amongst the best superhero films, maybe even the best (they were certainly the best superhero films in my eyes at the time) and Raimi deserves a lot of credit for his contribution to the superhero genre IMO. SM2 is still my favourite of that trilogy. Like I said, while I do not enjoy them as much as I used to, I am happy they are still popular. They brought me a lot of joy when they came out and for many years after.

Sure, you can. I've seen it all the time. It is perfectly normal.

The reason Rotten Tomatoes is superior to Metacritic is simple. There are more reviews. For example, take Jurassic World which was the biggest film of the year. Metacritic has 49 critic reviews. Rotten Tomatoes has 264. A single outlier on Metacritic sways the result more than it does on Rotten Tomatoes. A good example of this is Jaws. One reviewer gave Jaws a 40 out of a 100 on Metacritic, and because of that ONE review the film is dragged down to a 79. Jaws on Rotten Tomatoes has a far more accurate 97%. Plus, Metacritic doesn't give a straight up percentage of critics that liked the film score the way Rotten Tomatoes does. It does tally them, but you have to do the math yourself.

Metacritic is good and I like how they rank all the reviews in order of rating (out of 100) so it is easier to see where most of the reviews lie, but that's why I think the Tomatometer is more reliable than simply using the Metacritic aggregate.

It is because that was his intention and Mary-Jane knew that. He got flowers because he had romantic feelings for her.

God bless you! God bless everyone in your life!

Disagreed. It wasn't his intention. There nothing wrong with sending friend flowers for broadway play they in. Harry did it too and he not trying to date MJ because he accept she not want him. Peter not do anything wrong.

Harry does have romantic feelings for MJ. Peter does too. MJ didn't take issue with it because she wasn't aware of it. She took issue with it with Peter because she knew he had feelings for her.

That my point that you not get. Harry have feelings for her, MJ know he does because they used to date, but it ok for him to send her flowers after and them to go eat food together. Can still have platonic friendship like in real life people do. That is same as why it ok for Peter. You can have platonic friendship like that even if friend has feelings. Peter not do anything wrong when he ask MJ to get food with him. That happen with friends in situation same as that in real life too. That is truth of life. There is proof. I post some already. Kahran Ramsus see it in real life as too.

That doesn't change Peter asking her out and her knowing it. MJ didn't know that Harry still had feelings for her. She knew that with Peter. That's why she understood the context of Peter asking her to eat.

Disagreed. Peter not ask her out, he just ask her to go eat food like friends do. That not asking person to go out for date. MJ just afraid that it could mean more. Like when she think Peter only saw play because he wanted to talk her out of getting married. They best friends still. Friends with feelings for each other can still do things that together. Happen all time. I post links to show proof. MJ did know Harry still have feelings for her. She kissed him in Spider-Man 3. They still able to be friends because platonic friendship happen with friends with feelings all time. That is truth of life. Peter not do anything wrong. You wrong to say he did.

Topher Grace likes the whole trilogy, defends Spider-Man 3.
I know the movie did well for Sony, but I also know a lot of people weren’t happy with it. I think Sam is so talented. I remember one time I was on ninth unit. (Laughs.) Ninth unit? It’s like he’s running a small country. This summer, there was a movie like that where people are just slamming a big studio movie. I would love to see anyone who’s slamming one of those movies try to fit in Sam Raimi’s position. He was like the president of a small country — by the way, it had the gross national income of a small country, too. I have huge respect for him. I think, on a whole, he did such a fantastic job [on that trilogy].

SM3 is still one of the better CB flicks, not top 20 material, but I love it...and definitely is better than the last two pieces of ass.

Thats what I was thinking lol

Hahaha, well I see what you mean; with all of the drama behind-the-scenes.

The word, "blockbuster," made me think he was talking about Age of Ultron, though. While a financial success, there was ton of criticism towards it and its "overcrowdedness." It was as if Joss Whedon was earning the money of a small country as well.

Well, AoU definitely had some hate, but that was from some stupid SJW's for the most part, and some of the drama about Whedon being unhappy with the movie.

Fair play to Topher for standing by Raimi and the trilogy
