In b4 lanternvenom throws a hissy fit
Indeed.Classy response from Topher. Glad to see he is standing up for Sam.

Indeed.
And I'm pleased to be a fan of all three movies.
How would you be like if Topher was chosen to play the title character in the trilogy instead?LOL--about what? It's hardly shocking when an actor ( or in this case, an "actor") is proud of a movie in which he co-starred.
Same here, I like the trilogy as a whole. I enjoy them much more than the ASM films.

He is awesome. Off topic to this thread but I saw the new Evil Dead trailer and can't wait to check it out.
In relation to Spider-Man, I have seen quite a few suggest that had the Raimi movies continued, Campbell would have made an excellent Beck/Mysterio. I agree with that opinion.
Im not really on top of it. I know they made two [Amazing Spider-Man] features, and obviously, Ive seen those. I think theyre so complete now, Marvel. They probably dont need me anymore. But if they needed me? Id love to. Its great to be wanted.
Poor Sam.Sounds like he still loses sleep at night over Spider-Man 3. Would love to see him do a MARVEL movie again. Spider-Man or not.

Sigh ... I love Sam Raimi. He does not deserve the hate that he gets for Spider-Man 3, after all he's done as a filmmaker in general. How many filmmakers has this man influenced because of The Evil Dead? Or his Spider-Man movies? Come on.
I would be outrageously happy if Marvel Studios hired him for some project (whether it's directing, writing, or just part of a creative team). He has passion for this stuff, and it would be great if he worked on something. It doesn't even have to be Spider-Man.
Kevin Feige himself has said that Raimi's Spider-Man movies set the bar for Spidey, and that's what they're trying to achieve with MCU Spidey.
It just plain sucks that Raimi doesn't receive much credit for his movies anymore ... Just because a lot of people weren't happy with Spider-Man 3 (ONE movie). Spider-Man 3 isn't even among the worst comic book movies; hell, I think it's better than some of the MCU movies.

Just out of plain curiosity and not looking to debate, what films in the MCU are not as good as SM3?
I'd take it over:I'd take SM3 over:
Thor 2
IM2
Incredible Hulk
Thor
Captain America: TFA
(Not a movie, but)
Agents of Shield
I will say, none of them are particularly bad, although Thor 2 isn't something I would care to ever watch again either.
