Saw the trailer of the new game again, and couldn't help but think of this spectacular scene.

While watching this.

Oh man, first time I have seen that Spidey game trailer! Count me the hell in!

Makes me want to go back and watch Spider-Man all over again. The only thing that holds it back as a perfect Spider-Man film to me is using Mary Jane over Gwen.

Why did they use a soundtrack from one of the most hilariously bad movies ever made for this trailer?

So the release of the first movie got delayed, and they had a different font for it.

I prefer the font used for the Playstation 3, as much as I love this font.

Never seen that before. Looks like they used/tweaked some of that web animation for the film's opening title card. I didn't know that S-M1 was originally supposed to come out in '01' though. Always thought May 2002 was the film's intended release date.

I ordered these blu ray steelbooks from Zavvi. 2&3 arrived I didn't get 1 yet, but soon. They're beautiful in person.

I love 2's the best. Great action Spidey pose, and Doc Ock looks fab as always.

They're definitely great man and I agree I love the steelbook for 2. If any of you like myself are big fans/collectors they're worth the buy. They also come with a 3D lenticular magnet that fits on top of each steelbook and can be taken off.

Those are gorgeous.

I was hoping Sony would release a 15th anniversary edition of Spider-Man 1 for this Spring/Summer, but they probably would have announced something by now if that was the case :(

Glad they went with the PS2 font, it's iconic and will forever be associated with the series. The other looks great, but too generic to stick out in the mind like the final version did.

The 10th anniversary for Spider-Man 3 is coming soon, May the 4th. :D

Am I the only one that gets emotional when thinking about Spider-Man 1?
.

Trust me, you aren't. The alley kiss scene in SM1, "Go get 'em, Tiger" in SM2, and pumpkin bomb rescue in SM3...on all of those occasions, I got misty-eyed. I still feel emotionally-charged when I watch certain scenes of the Raimi trilogy.

The final swing in the first film gets me super excited every time.

Man I remember seeing all 3 films in the theater, those were definitely special theater experiences. Yes even 3 haha.

I saw 2 and 3 in the theaters, but I didn't get to see the first one until it showed up on dvd. I believe that was one of the first dvds I played.

Just finished watching Spider-Man 2 again. Wow...:hmr: That train sequence

The only movie I sat through in theater is the 2nd, the experience was exciting back in the day.

Seeing the first Spider-Man movie in theaters is one of the BEST theater experiences of my life. Easily.

I was pretty sour on comic book movies back then ... And despite being a huge Spider-Man fan, I was dreading the movie, thinking that the film would be a gigantic screw-up.

My brother convinced me to go, so the two of us saw it. I went in with a typical, cocky "teenage" attitude expecting the worst ... But then the movie won me over fast. I was on cloud nine walking out of the theater that day. I almost CRIED during the final swing sequence. Magical.

Seeing Spider-Man 2 in theaters was a great experience as well. I remember the audience applauding at the Doc Ock hospital scene and then ridiculous cheering happening at the end of the train sequence. And yes, I got teary-eyed twice during the film too (during the "Spider-Man No More" scene and the "I believe there's a hero in all of us" speech).

That hospital scene with Ock is just perfect. Pure Raimi/Evil Dead style horror.

I didn't get to experience it like you guys. :csad: I was three when the first film came out & five when SM2 came out. :(

I remember covering my eyes when the Ock hospital scene happened. It was so scary
