It comes out next month (January 2007). It's a Fantastic Four issue of some kind. Didn't catch the name of it, but I think it began with "Marvel" something or other. I was Googling something else, when this image popped up.

Do an image search in google under "january solicitations, Iceman", and you might get more info. on it.

I think you mean Human Torch.

Either way, I'm guessing that's from an upcoming Marvel Age: Fantastic Four issue.

What do you guys think of the version of Iceman in the mini series X-Men: First Class?

Personally, I think it's probably the best interpretation of him ever... Better than the 616 version. Of course I'm talking about his personality, not his powers. Although, even those seem to be very creative in this book.

If you're a huge fan of Iceman as you say you are, you MUST get these books (X-Men: First Class #1-8). They're in stores NOW. You'll especially like the up and coming issue (#5, in stores on the 17th this month), because the story is centralized around Bobby this time.

OK I've got a few months of reading to catch up on. How's Drake been treated in the last few issues. (Don't tell me if there's anything too important that I'd be better off reading first)

OK I've got a few months of reading to catch up on. How's Drake been treated in the last few issues. (Don't tell me if there's anything too important that I'd be better off reading first)

For the most part, he's been pretty low key as before. He's not so much a background character as he was before, but he's definitely not in the forefront like Rogue, Lady Mastermind, or Karima (like in the last issue). His interaction with Mystique seems to be more frequent, but nothing has developed just yet. You'll get an idea of how intense it will be in issue #197, from the previews posted a month ago.

Yeah, this is one of my top favorite versions of Iceman. Although I'd prefer it if he lost the legs and went with the ice tenticle (not testicle) coming from his torso.
