I don't think Lex being more musclebound will pose anymore of a threat to Superman. Thats not what the character is about. Its Mindpower.

That because you're an Aussie & not American instead. Our money are different than your if you haven't pay attention. :p :D

Yes it's only comes in one form - green and white. Boring. ;) :oldrazz:

Ours has different colours. :D

Should Lex be more musclebound? It depends. If we are going with the SR Luthor, then it doesn't matter. He could even be a bit chubby if he wants to.

As for post-crisis Luthor, then I think he should be. One of the things about that version is that he was the big thing in Metropolis before Superman arrived. When Superman appeared and all the attention diverted to him, Luthor was mad. So I think Luthor being a perfect physical specimen, the most handsome and smart person in Metropolis helps that version of the character.

I agree, his build does not matter, he is a evil mastermind, I like Spacey's take on Lex, I hope I get to see him do it again.

I'd go with something close to TAS & "Smallville" approach by making him be in shape & know different forms of fighting.
I agree, however, I think they should still stick with Spacey, he makes a sinister villain...however, I do think that Michael Rosenbaum makes a wicked awsome Lex Luthor!

In an exclusive interview we conducted today we got actor Kevin Spacey, to give us the scoop on the Superman Returns sequel as well as those nasty little Justice League of America rumors! Take a look...

Can you give us the scoop on Superman Returns 2?

Kevin Spacey: There are no developments right now. I know as much as the rest of the world knows.

So there are no plans to go into production?

Kevin Spacey: Not that I knows of. I'm signed to do it, but I don't know anything about the storyline or the shooting schedule at this point.

What about these Justice League of America rumors? Are you going to be involved in the film?

Kevin Spacey: Though I've heard the same rumors, no one has approached me about this.

well MOS is 100% not happening in 2009 if JL is out in 2009. so no suprise here.

Yep. I really don't see it happening. I think they are going to let Singer walk. Showtime knows how it works.

so they signed him, but will let him walk and pay him?? i dont think so, wb getting their own writers is their way of gaininng some control back. I want singer to stay, i mean look at those directors they got for GL and Flash, they are absolute hacks compared to singer

Of course its dead. Do you all seriously a expect a sequel to Superman Returns?

As I have said, this has happened before. Yes. They signed him to devlop only to see if he could get them a better film. He gave them two pitches, and despite what people will say, the WB obviously didn't like either or there would be movement. He was only paid a smaller fee to develop. When they greelight the pic, then he gets another much larger paycheck and the points come into play. But his contract is a sort of pay or play thing. If he is fired, they still have to pay his initial fee as though he did direct the film anyway. If he leaves on his own, then they don't have to pay him further on the project.

I don't consider a guy involved in "Everwood" and "Jack & Bobby" a "hack" ... I think the Green Lantern film will only gain from getting someone involved in quality shows. That were cancelled.

The Dobkin guy directing Flash....I dunno. I liked Wedding Crashers. I haven't seen any of his other movies (I think) so I'm taking a "wait and see" approach on that one. I wish Goyer had done Flash...

Sure Singer is great in comparison to these guys, but this is WB we are talking about. They are probably waiting on JL before doing MOS as they wanted a cash cow with SR and didn't quite get that.

Why would they tell someone when they are going into production if they have no writers officially nor a script? First things first I think.

They only pay him if the movie gets made. This is not a Tim Burton/Nick Cage 'pay for play' situation where they get paid no matter what. It's a standard contract that most actors or directors have that are involved in potential franchises.

It's dead Jim, get over it.

I agree. Singer's Superman is no more and thank god.

Well that makes it pretty easy, Spacey has no information on the script or a start date, so we won't see MOS for a while, hopefully we will see the movie in 2010.
