Yeah I'm pretty sure he's not in it. There is always a possibility of a cameo but I doubt it. He might get a mention though.

Which is exactly why Lex should be introduced at first in the shadows pulling strings. He needs a good build-up and the right introduction at the right time. Somewhere at the end of the 2nd act or the beginning of the 3rd act in MOS -II.

I thought about him too. But isn't he scooped up by Marvel? Or is he just a one-shot like Jeff Bridges was in "Iron Man"? Both would be cool in the role of Lex

I always thought of Donald Trump as the real life verison of Hackman's Luthor. I'm certain he's bald under that fox tail he wears on his head. Hackman just has better taste in wigs

The one person that was worth seeing Superman Returns was Kevin Spacey. I liked Kevin very much as Lex but becuase of horrible writing and plot he never had the chance to really go into the full Lex story. I would like to see Kevin Spacey return as Lex in Man of Stee 2 but give him scenes inside Lexcorp, against superman more not just attacking him, no land crap, see him in his own stye, a evil and corrupt businessman who steps on the little people and wants to take over Daily Planet but in public acts charming to everyone like Lois.
