Ben foster

Not keen on Ben Foster find him too baby faced.

is Lex going to be in this movie?

It appears unlikely but there's always possibility of a kep under wraps cameo or maybe a mention of Lexcorp or something. Lex will most likely be in the sequel, people automatically assume Lex is gonna be the main villain when he's mentioned but watching Superman the animated series or smallville he's usually behind the scenes or a hero to the public whose really a villain. He's not at first site the main villain.

still love this hardy manip too bad he was bane which likely cancels him out:csad:

Foster = Metallo or Parasite.

I don't think Lex is in it. Why? because I doubt even they could keep it under wraps for this long, not impossible, but not likely.

If anything, IMHO, it could be something simple like a cameo of Lex-corp ( if thats even in it ) or a brief shot of Lex from the back, looking out his window at the fight ongoing in Metropolis between Supes and Zod, or, maybe just a mention of him in the DP.

I'd love to be wrong and someone like Isaacs is in it as lex. :(
No, I feel like they want to keep this one as Superman's story. Lex will probably be setup for later.

Well considering Bane's done in the Nolan-verse, I'd say that he could most definitely be cast as Lex if they choose to look at him for the role.

Plus, his face was covered for 99% of the movie. The general audience probably won't even be able to make the connection.

I don't think it'l end up been Hardy. He's played Bane people have seen his face on interviews etc yes he wore a mask but people still know Tom Hardy played Bane.

Most people don't know non A-list actors like that, believe it or not. "That guy from..." is purely a visual thing for most. But, for the fans, it'd be nice to have someone else, so we can create this fictional fictional world in our heads.

Guy Pearce is a cool pick for skill, but I'd like someone who is capable of carrying their own movie, and Pearce is already the bad guy in Iron Man 3. I'd prefer to get that awesomeness of the casting the Joker in TDK again. Someone who's not always a villain, someone who is relatively young with A-list potential and some heavy drama roles to match their action ones. Someone like Jake Gyllenhaal, I guess. DiCaprio would be cool too, I think, but he does seem to look weird fake-bald. John Hamm sounds cool, but I doubt even this project would be enough to get him into the superhero business.

Guy Pearce or Toby Stephens for Lex Luthor :woot: Hell why not both, if they do a certain storyline then it would be very very easy for them to get both of them to play the same character :woot:

The storyline I'm speaking of is when Lex gets originally dies and suddenly Lex Luthor Jr. is revealed to the world as Lex's long lost son but is actually Lex in a new cloned body (its still his brain so its not a full clone)

*edit*

oh hey why not throw in Bryan Cranston, dude ****ing owns on Breaking Bad

If they don't know by the time the movie comes out, they'll find out eventually.

Ben foster would work. Hes a bit young but he can definitely pull off megalomania (especially the mania part).

I like the idea of lex celebrating his 40th bday, anticipating his next great conquest, when he sees the first reports of supes. He aint happy.

Why 40th? Seems too old.

40 is too old? You must be very young lol. Trust me 40, for a character like Lex Luthor, is not old. Its the prime of his life in fact.

Foster is only 32 or so, so obviously hed need some very minor aging. But any actor under 50 who is in shape would do the trick. 40 ish is fine.

I always imagine Lex to be anywhere between 30-40 years old.

I think Michael Fassbender would be great...Too bad he plays Magneto

Willem Dafoe. Spidey's loss is our gain. :o

LOL, I think I have seen this dude suggested for literally every casting thread on this board.

Fassbender is Wonder Woman. :o:up:

I think using the STAS/JL/JLU charactarization of him would be great to see.

I was thinking something like early 30's.
