What do any of you think of a non-bald luthor for this series? I read a quote from the actor who played luthor (who mostly wasn't bald in Lois and Clark) about how a man with as many resources as luthor wouldn't actually be bald.
Not to mention some actors don't look great bald either. I think they will likely go for the better actor first then an actor who will necessarily look good bald.
Why is looking "good" important? Lex shouldnt give a damn about how his (lack of) hair looks. Leo is EXACTLY the kind of actor who should be de-prettified with either a blah crewcut or straight up baldness. Male pattern baldness would be ideal. A truly formidable Luthor isn't gonna be worried about his hair.
Bizarre that being attractive is even a consideration for Lex, regardless of the actor. Irrelevant.

Whoever is eventually picked for the role would be the right choice. Thought the casting was incredibly spot on for MoS, the movie's bright spot for me. Especially confident in the Nolan crew picking a good onscreen comic book villain.
For me it depends on who the actor is. Also, I think a man seems smarter with hair.
Like if it's Dicaprio, I say let Lex have hair.

Do you mean smarter as in 'more intelligent'? If so I disagree, and find your viewpoint very strange.
Why, so he looks like DiCaprio looks in everything? DiCaprio playing Lex with his own hair would just be the same angry-baby fat-face yet again. I think he is a terrible casting choice, anyway, but if we do get landed with him he has to shave his head.
I agree(ish), but would add that plenty of vain/good looking/powerful men choose to shave their heads rather than wear a wig or get a hair transplant or whatever. For a man like Lex, attempting to cover up a receding hairline would be a little chink of vulnerability in his armour. I think he is unlikely to give the world the satisfaction.
Added to that, baldness is really the only iconic/recognizable feature Lex has. Without it, he is a man in a suit. Of course the script and the performance are more significant, but I don't think it is wise to deprive the character of his one visual signature.
I saw an interesting suggestion for Lex Luthor the other day Aidan Gillen from Game Of Thrones, The Wire, The Dark Knight Rises, Blitz, Shanghai Knights and Thorne.
