I don't know how aware he is of the tone Nolan is going for in regards to Lex. It may be easier to cast someone with a little more natural charisma that doesn't quite need as much guidance as I suspect Zane would need. It could be they have to shoot a scene x number of times and maybe one of the takes will work with Zane. Just imho of course. If there is a better actor that comes in with the right tone, that would be a better way to go.

Has anyone here ever suggested James Marsters before? I know someone on Comic Book Movie did. He did a fantastic job voicing Lex in Supermanoomsday and DCUniverse Online. Here's my manip(I already posted it on CBM as SuperManFan01)

not only is he wrong for Lex, he played one of the coolest villains EVAR in a horrendous movie!!! granted, it wasn't his fault the movie sucked, but he still went along with it. no no no....no Lex for Marsters.







anyway, IF (note the word "if") they were to go with a big name for Lex i still think Nick Cage would make an interesting Lex. while i haven't been impressed with his films of late, i still like to watch him from time to time. maybe shaving his head is exactly what he needs to do to getting over his complex.

I guess English isn't your first language if you couldn't understand what Ken Watanabe was saying in Inception. He was perfectly clear in his language. In fact he probably speaks better English than many westerners. You'd have to be on meth or cocaine if you didn't understand what Ken Watanabe was saying. He speaks perfectly fine English, better than many native speakers.

First of all, I too thought that Ken Watanabe wasn't understandable. His thick accent prevents me from understanding him clearly.

And second of all, you've OBVIOUSLY never done meth or cocaine if you think that it makes it insanely hard to understand people. Every time I've done either, I had no trouble understanding what people were saying.
