With costner being cast as jonathan, i'm even more excited now to see who gets the lex gig.

He's got a fantastic eye for underrated talent. If this were any other director, I would bet on a fairly big name. But I have a feeling Zack will go for someone more low-key, but definitely an actor that has the chops to pull it off just as well.

I'm hoping for Luke Goss, personally.

He fits the mold the likes of Patrick Wilson and Gerald Butler were in.

I don't even think Billy looks that much like Lex anymore, aside from being bald. And hell... if being bald is the only criteria here, then give me Bruce Willis. He might play the same character 90% of the time, but he is capable of playing other roles, even villainous ones.

(Not saying that Willis is my choice for Lex... just saying that I'd rather have him than Zane).

I just hate when people bring up Billy Zane as Lex! Usually I'm like "I respect your choice but that actor isn't my choice" but when it comes to Zane I just turn into a beast.

In every movie I've seen him in he gives off this cheeseball smug lightweight feel. He isn't special in the acting department at all and he just screams Z or F list. He's a SyFy channel movie actor and thats why his career went nowhere despite playing in the second highest grossing movie of all time.

He might be a nice man for all I know but he flat out sucks when it comes to doing his job. I wish him goodluck in his personal life but I want him to stay out of movies that I might want to see.

Now, I don't dislike that Daniel Craig suggestion.

i dislike the Daniel Craig suggestion.....not because he's a bad fit for the role (quite the contrary) but because i think it's obvious that he's not gonna do it. i'd love to see Tom Hardy play Lex but i know he's not gonna do it, hence why i don't bring him up anymore.
