I'm glad you brought up Jake Gyllenhaal, DF, so now I don't have to worry about him getting the role! Whew!

at first i brought him up as a joke, but now that i think about it...i would actually be kind of excited if he tackled the role. he's a very intense actor...and Gyllenhaal playing a villain would be a nice challenge for him as an actor.

i'm not sure what your stance is on Tobey as Spider-Man. i thought he did a fair job. not outstanding, but certainly not horrible either.

judging by the Amy Adams reactions, if Gyllenhaal were to be cast as Lex people would complain that his eyebrows are too thick, his voice isn't deep enough, and he's too physically fit.

Since, you know, they apparently cast a 78-year-old to play Lois.
