She reminds me of Cavill to be honest - definitely looks like the character, not a good actor though, but could pull it off.

I don't know, but Biel just reeks of studio casting for me. But if Snyder wants her, then that's that. We'll see.

Don't agree. I would think Cavill is a better actor than Jessica Biel. I for one don't think Biel looks much like the character. Maybe it's because her lips look a little plumped & fake.

I don't think a great deal of her acting. She's one of these 'hot' actresses who get hired mostly for her looks. Olivia, while she's hot, I think she's a good actress as well.

I just don't see Biel as Lois, sorry. She's a little too bombshell-like for my liking.

Yea, like Katie Holmes and Blake Lively. And that didn't fair well for Holmes and I have almost no hope for Lively in GL.

I saw Cavill in Stardust and Whatever Works, and found him wooden as **** in both. Then again, Reeve and Routh weren't these amazing actors either before being Superman and they were both great imo.

The more I think about Biel the more I think would be surprised if she doesn't end up Lois. She has been on the WB superhero radar for awhile now. First as Wonder Woman in the JL movie, then she was linked to Batman and now the rumblings with Superman. Then add the info FNJ is relaying and well I think things are in her favor.

The WB is what gave Jessica Biel her introduction to Hollywood, and though they had a tiff about her hotness during her 7th Heaven days, they still are on good terms.

Wasn't it Jeff Robinov, WB's Film Chief, who made final decision on Cavill?

The thing with Jessica Biel is she actually an obviously gifted actress in the right role; she was truly exceptional in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie she did.

She has a bit of kate Winslet in her to be certain. But then she also has a bit of Cameron Diaz; where she comes off way too aware that shes in a movie, thus nothing seems natural. There are better choices, for sure, but Biel wouldnt be terrible. I would prefer Wilde or espec. McAdams, but I wont cry over Biel. Personally, the role should be cast off Cavill imo. Whoever has the best chemistry with him is the one who should get the role.

She has also been on that "franchise material" list forever, even though her three tries at "franchises"-stealth, blade, and the ateam-were all flops.

Biel WOULD be terrible, imo. The casting of Cavill earned Snyder some major good faith with me. If he casts Biel, it would seem he's determined to destroy that. It's a personal war Snyder and I have going on, clearly.

i personally wouldnt mind one bit if Biel was cast(then again i am very open minded), she has the acting chops, despite many dont think so.... she has the girl next door look, and she might have great chemistry with Cavill.
