Blunt had no other choice but to turn down Black Widow because Fox had her tied up to do that ****ty Gulliver's Travel movie and she couldn't get out of it.

Man she was unlucky, what about Captain America movie? I read somwhere she turned down female lead in that one. Was that true? I hope she will cast as Lois.

I remember there being a rumor about her being up for the role, I don't remember if she was actually in the running though. I know Keira Knightley was.

^^That doesn't say much about their looks does it? I prefer McAdams the most and she's older than Henry. But she doesn't look it. Emily - whom I think is a fab actress btw, which is why EB>OW to me - looks older.

Yeah, she was really good on Dexter. Although I must confess I wasn't paying much attention to her acting there...

Olivia Wilde doesnt act'' glamour'' infront of the cameras. she is very natural.

when i say that she knows how to act i mean that she is a normal actor. Fox infront of cameras is acting like she i posing for a magazine.

I agree... just because Olivia is a sex symbol right now doesn't make her Megan Fox. Olivia is has genuine acting talent.

I said Courtney Ford should've been Lois during the promotion for Returns. She's actually a good actress in the two films I've seen her in.

Either way, it seems that Biel might actually be the frontrunner. I ran across this (http://jessica-biel.org/). It's the second story down.

Apparently, Harry Knowles got a similar tip as well.

Interesting. I like Biel. She's not my first choice but I would be happy with her in the role. She played a pretty good hardass in The A-Team.

That's the problem with Biel, as much as I like her. She just looks like she could throw down with any dude.

Lois' as strong character but the image of her is not of a woman who could actually take out Superman.

Biel looks like she could.

Any comparison to KStew is ridiculous because frankly, even Kate Bosworth was a better choice than her. Biel is a terrible choice. Not a good actress and not very feminine. Lois is modern day real woman, not an action star.

Can't BELIEVE there would be no Lois Lane OR LESS Lois than usual.

You CAN'T have Superman without Lois Lane. Alot of superheroes out there don't have definitive love interests. Even Spider-Man, one of the most popular superheroes, has MULTIPLE love interests.

Superman is always stuck with Lois Lane. Not because he HAS to, but because their relationship always works.

Not having Lois, would mean no Daily Planet and tbh I don't want to watch a whole film (or a third of the film) in Africa or Egypt or whatever.



No Lois Lane = I'm not seeing this film.


(And I'm a massive Superman fan)
