Hmmm weird. I mean i've never properly watched the show, but i've watched a lot of clips of her in it, and always thought she was very good. Great emotional range, and she's playing a very complicated character.

What don't you like about her?

I watch the show full-on.

I think he acting is too pushed, like she's forced to be dramatic. There's no flow, rather wooden sometimes and quite cheesy. Always got that bambi caught in headlights look or tears in her eyes look.

Fair enough. I haven't seen that much, maybe it would put me off her. Kind of how watching White Collar put me off Matthew Bomer.

Like I say, i've seen a few clips. I thought she had potential.

Though logic might lead one to believe that the casting of Gossip Girl's Blake Lively in Green Lantern would be an indication that an actress from a similar style of TV show might land the Lois Lane role, it has to be taken into consideration that Lively had also been in a few films and has attracted quite a bit of media attention over the past several years, appearing on major magazine covers and such. Thus, I think that if a TV actress is cast as Lois, the most likely option would be someone on par with Lively's level of fame... perhaps someone even more famous since Henry Cavill is not as big of a star as Ryan Reynolds at this point.

So in the case of Stroup - who I will agree has a great look for Lois but I have no idea if she can act - I don't think that she would end up making the cut. If they do pursue a TV actress, I think someone like Olivia Wilde, who has been appearing in some major films lately and has attracted quite a bit of media attention, is a much more realistic possibility.

She is IMO one of the worst suggestions that has become popular. I think she looks NOTHING like Lois, and I have seen nothing of her acting that I have particularly liked.

i dont' see it either, she is hot no doubt, but i can't picture her a Superman film, she maybe out of place

She was pretty good in TRON. And I liked her in The OC...if she doesn't get the part of Lois I'd be shocked

I've read on some site other than here, that McAdams and Wilde have both read for the part of Lois...so I guess that's a mighty short list

I'd be perfectly happy with Wilde, but from the shortlist, I'm still rooting for McAdams.

McAdams makes more sense to be Lois than Wilde in my opinion

Olivia Wilde has a very strong jaw-line, which could be either be good or bad for Lois. I do prefer Jessica Stroup's look, but based on the 'finalists' as in the final contenders I'd say Olivia is the best.

For me it was out of Jessica or Olivia. So either one is good for me.

I'm going to post this again, i still think Ashley Greene has the chops to play Lois Lane

I really like Ashley Greene. I selfishly have her as my number 2 choice despite her weak resume. It's unfortunate most of her work revolves around Twilight and we are not sure if she can carry the screen. Even though I think Ashley looks more like Lois, I have Wilde as my number 1 choice based on the fact that she is a stronger draw, has a deeper resume, and has been in a starring role and held her own. Less risk I guess. Ashley is a model turned actress and still needs time to grow but I wouldn't complain if she were cast.

She's like a fungus to the thread, worse than Stroup.

I wouldn't call Greene fungus. She's just really unproven to me and needs more work. If she has the talent, Nolan and Snyder will see it. If you are gonna go with Greene or Wilde though, Wilde just makes more sense.

People can suggest whoever they want. It's fine to disagree but you don't have to be a dick about it.
