Greene looks so goddamn fine, but she's not going to get it.
I'm only a dick about the ones clearly unfit for the role; especially when their supporters haven't/barely watched anything the actress has been in.People can suggest whoever they want. It's fine to disagree but you don't have to be a dick about it.

For good reason.Greene looks so goddamn fine, but she's not going to get it.
I have a reason, because that looks nothing like Lois.

And what's this shortlist you're all talking about?
McAdams makes more sense to be Lois than Wilde in my opinion
If Director needs to reiterate Ashely Greene then I present into evidence the following:

This, and the actress needs to have that "(possibly overworkd)career woman" look. She needs to be ambitious, somewhat authoritative, and a bit pushy. Kinda like Terri Hatcher as Lois.
Depends on which stage of her career the film is set, doesn't it?
I'm at a bit of a disadvantage in this discussion, because I don't know who many of these suggested actresses are. Never seen "Twilight," not into any of the TV shows referenced here.
But what I'm looking for in a Lois Lane is an actress who exudes intelligence. Lois is supposed to be a savvy, sometimes hardnosed reporter. We need a Lois with confidence and strength. My ideal was Natalie Portman but for various reasons she's probably not going to get the role.
My second choice would be Emily Blunt, who's been mentioned here before. She's a great actress and beautiful in a slightly less conventional way. In everything I've seen her in, she always comes across as very smart.
Since I don't know the Olivia Wildes and Jessica Stroups of this world, can anyone tell me if they seem intelligent in their roles?

her jaw structure is terrible for portraying an icon, especially in this videoOlivia Wilde should seem hotter than Clark yet be in awe when he is Superman. They could just tone her down and find a middle ground.

Exactly.Yeah, I hate that too Majik. At least watch what they've been in before declaring them perfect for a role.

so i guess you are talking about yourself than right? because you have nothing to say about GreeneExactly.
lol I won't comment on her personality as I don't know her personally, but as someone who has watched her in the Twilight movies, I will say she's likable in her roles, even with the horrid writing of the movies. However, that's not to say she's a good choice for Lois in any way.Greene comes off as unlikeable to me, fake, and very wooden. The type to say something with a smile while being completely disingenuous and sinister under the surface, also slightly vapid. She's an actress, but clearly not good enough to hide the horrible person she is on the inside.

There is no reason the actress cast for Lois must be a dead ringer for the comic look.
If we do this, we need someone with raven black hair and a tinted tan too their skin.
I still don't have a new favorite. Evangiline Lilly being preggo really throws a wrench into my Lois plans.
