Rebbecca Hall looks too gawky, geeky, homely and plain looking. As I said, Lois doesn’t have to be overly sexy or anything but she needs to have a kind of striking and strong look about her.

well if all you look at are gawky, geeky, homely, plain looking pictures of her like the ones you posted then obviously you're gonna think that way. it's easy to find the worst pictures of someone to prove that they look bad. i can just as easily find the best pictures of her to prove that she's actually very attractive...

...see? it's very easy to frame your argument by posting pictures of either extreme.

to be honest, i don't think she'll get the role...or even want it, but again...she's one of the more capable actresses that've been mentioned here. she's not the most pretty or sexy by any means, but imo, she's pretty ENOUGH and her talents make up for her lack of striking good looks.

Just because Olivia Wilde is the "IT GIRL" now doesn't mean she is perfect for Lois now.

So yeah, I think Ashley Green is better for Lois than Olivia Wilde because nobody here have no good reason to rule out Ashley Greene from the running. I mean, she isn't main stream just like Cavill, and I can picture both of them on screen than Olivia and Cavill.

They need a stronger person then Greene for Lois. Her acting skills are lacking.

Hall seems like she would play Cavill's much older boss, not a Lois Lane. Or atleast i cant see her along side Cavill. No offense to Hall i know she's only 29 but i dont think she fits well with Cavill. I definitely still think McAdams or Wilde would be better.

Yep, according to me. That was my opinion. You're free to disagree. I apologize if I sounded rude in the response.

I know everyone has their own opinion, but I truly can't even begin to understand how she is even being suggested. Lois is not suppose to be drop dead gorgeous but she's not suppose to be homely either. And I find Hall very homely. I'd like Kristen Stewart's look as Lois more then her's.

I hope that Rebecca Hall gets casted because if she is casted, then all of the people here who are so adamant that someone else should be casted would be really angry that their oh-so-perfect choice has not been casted, while someone that they thought should not be casted because they didn't like her looks has been casted instead. Such hostility towards even the idea of someone being casted just because she doesn't resemble the perfect actress you had imagined would be casted makes me want to root for Rebecca even more and hope she is casted. If casted, that would be an indication that the director who casted her saw something special in her that deemed her worthy of being casted, and of why all of the actresses that you determined should be casted were not casted.

Well casting Ashely Greene certainly wouldn't do that...she isn't that great of an actress. Sure, she's hot, but good grief...she isn't Lois material

I agree. No to Greene for acting and no for Hall for looks.
I mean, the movie needs someone who actually looked like Lois in the comics. And Lois was not homely looking. But we also need someone to act her out well. So no to both Greene and Hall in my opinion. Wilde/McAdams are the two best IMO.

I would choose Hall over Greene any day! She's a far better actress and a natural beauty...Greene looks just like another "pretty girl" with no personality.

Olivia Wilde is still my top choice for the role...
